Do you agree that kids watching cartoons? Most of the cartoon heros are destroying, demolishing things. Is this conveying a good message to our loved ones?

For example, Tom and Jerry!, Jerry destroys house hold items such as glass and plates. Our kiddies love to watch this and even trying to do the exact thinss as jerry did! A kind of imitation! Is this a good sign?

cartoons are meant just for fun. in fact television is made to entertain only. acting to wat it is being shown in the TV is a bad practise itself.
try to make this understand to ur kids. my kids do watch it with gr8 enthusiasm in fact i too at this age still dont let it go if i come across it. its fun for us and during that time not a thing occurs in my mind to do this or that or to react accordingly.
just take it easy and let ur kids too. make them understand that behaving like throwing plates etc is going to do no gud for the little ones. Tom and Jerry do it just to entertain the little ones, but if u do the same thing u will get a punishment for it.
make them understand this politely and m sure they will understand it too.

Look first i don't read others answers before i make mine so if this repeats others sorry; if not have a look okay? It's fine watching cartoons Tom and Jerry and any other cartoon the purple teletubby is not gay and your kids mind won't melt if they have some fun . Stop listening to whatever psychologist or shrink is trying to sell a book on Oprah or the latest of the PC hippie dujour and let the kids be kids. Bike helmets geeze in my day only kids wearing helmets for other than sports were the spaz kids that would just fall out at any old time. LET KIDS BE KIDS!

I think if you let a kid watch these cartoons then you can teach them that kind of stuff is not acceptable. I know that in some of the Tom and Jerry cartoons that an adult will come and get on Tom for making the mess. If you teach your children the difference of right and wrong then the kid will know that the cartoon is only for entertainment. I am so sick of people blaming bad doings on television.

Did you know the television comes with a device known as a remote control? On this said remote control is a butt...sometimes it's called an on/off button, sometimes it's called the "power" button...when you click it once the telelvision comes on...click it again and the television goes off. Funny thing too is there is another button just like it right there smack dab on the television that does the same damn things! AMAZING isn't it? Also in back of the television there is a cable, if you unscrew that cable from the back of the television you don't get a picture on the television...also if you pull the plug for the television out of the wall the television goes off...Just thought I'd let you know all this since it seems as if you didn't know...

My sister would watch Tom and Jerry when she was a kid, during the program as silly as it sounds she would start by sitting on the sofa then you would find her standing till she was then screaming, now the program did not effect the rest of us like that and we did wonder as kids what was upsetting her. so my mother would turn it off.
Years later and she is now 35 she still will not watch it.
So who knows what goes through a kids mind and what effects them.
We are all different and react to things in different way's.

I watched Tom and Jerry, Tweety and Sylvester, The Road Runner, Foghorn Leghorn and all the rest. I seem to be reasonably well adjusted. Well, most of the time. I have only tried to stuff my brother into a bird cage twice. He doesn't fit. Well, that and I am a tad pist that chipmunks won't talk to me.

a hardship-loose question among analysts today should be "Is Tom Brady the finest of all time" i imagine he will be. he's contained in the accurate 3 for certain. merely QB id rank prior to him will be Joe montana. i respect what brady brings to the field. i respect how he develops receivers and extremely he can make an offense what that is. Brady has been one in each of my widespread quarterbacks to observe. merely inspect it like this. in line with annum we listen about Drew breee, peyton manning and aaron rodger and any analyst will inform you that Brady isn't observed too a lot because in line with annum that is anticipated of him to be tremendous. he's an magnificent participant who has made it to 5 tremendous bowls and gained 3. he will play for likely 4 possibly 5 years. with or with out welker besides. Welker is an magnificent participant yet Brady has gained 3 tremendous bowls with out him and none with him and that merely is going to reveal Brady is maximum likely gonna be the most suitable Quarterback to ever play.

I think at some point as parents we have to stop and think if we are going just a little too overboard with our kids. If you feel like you need to do more then explain to your children that this is not ok to behave like this in real life but it is entertainment.
