I was put into foster care when I was just 2 days old with the family I have known my whole life and they adopted me soon after. Recently though I have become curious as to who my real mother was and if she is still alive. I know the last name and my former first name but I do not know the spelling. I don't remember her from the visits I was told I had with her and to top it off, I was told that nobody knew who the real father was.

Can you give me Ideas about where to look? My adoptive mother has passed away and my adoptive father has a horrible memory, so I need other sources.

You would want to talk to your local adoption agency, and they could steer you to finding the adoption agency your mother used.

Good luck!

I have been searching for my biological daughter, I think I have found her. We are in the process of sending pictures to compare etc. I hope to God it is her. I was 15 when I was raped and got pregnant by her and had her at 16, my birthday was during the pregnancy. I gave her up because I could not take care of myself let a lone a baby and I really didn't get help from my family. I was in a bad family life to begin with. Anyways if you want to email me with the name you have, then I can try the resources I have.

why would u even want to find them?? i never had ne desire to find my parents. i figured if they really gave a damn about me they wouldn't have gotten rid of me to begin with. so don't waste ur time looking for them. u might find that they don't want to know who u r. is that worth the risk to find out?

Maybe you could start with the hospital where you were born.
