I don't understand why you would be giving a grown man money in the first place. I realize this is a normal practice in different cultures but...come on! When you left your parents house they didn't have the financial responsibility to care for your expenses. Why would they need more money when there are fewer children in the home?
You are financing your Father's affair.
You are enabling him to hurt your Mother...and if your religious...helping him to go to Hell.
You know what your MORAL obligation is.
Stop giving him money.

No, I could never sever ties with someone that I love, and I never give up on them. As for giving him money, it would depends on what he uses the money for. If it isn't for his mistress, and is for living expenses, I still would give it to him. You can't force anyone to stop doing something that is obviously hurting themselves or other people, but you can continue to show them your love and respect...and pray that they will come to see that what they are doing isn't right. If you can't talk to him about this, write him a heartfelt letter. I'm sure your mother must have an inkling about what is going on, and this should probably be left for the two of them to work out.

That is a suck postion to be in I know...I wouldn'tgive him money afterall he is your father and if he can have an affair what is to say he can't afford himself. I wouldnt cut your ties with him but let him know your hate the postion he is putting you in and give him the cold shoulder. And if it makes you feel better tell your mom...I did sorta I kinda set it up where she would see it on her own.

Yeah, I would stop giving him money.
I couldn't completely sever ties with him though, cause family is family! They may do their dirt and know I don't approve of it in any way, but I'm there if they seriously needed my help.

Hope this helped and hope all goes well for ya!♥

I wouldn't give him money to begin with. As for that affair, he would know I'm against it and don't come crying to me.
