He barely calls me, he barely txt's me, he wants to come down for a weekend to get to know me better, he keeps telling me to be careful about who I talk to on the net, and he worries about me. Are these signs that he is a stalker?

A couple years ago my sisters boyfriend broke up with her and she tried to kill herself. My niece found her and called 911. My mom thinks I am being childish for still carrying a grudge. I talk to her all the time but I don't ever want to hang out with her or go any where together. I am so mad that she tried to commit suicide. She was always my best friend but now I feel like she was betraying me. Am I wrong to be mad at her?

They are not speaking to eachother, and I am in the middle of it. She is 75 years old, and my mother just told her a week ago that she does not want to have any more contact with her. She lives in a nursing home, and does not have any contact with the oustide world besides her church. Her husband of fifty years died a couple years ago, and it's been really hard on her. My mother has decided to not talk to her anymore because of things that happened in her childhood. When my mother was 6 or 7, she was molested by her older adopted brother (My grandmother didn't know about this) My mother also said she was physically abused by my grandmother when she was younger. I believe that she should forgive my grandmother, because it is near the end of her life. No one should be left alone in their last years. When I say this to my mom, she gets really defensive. I am afraid she will regret this one day when my grandma is gone.

I am 20, in the second half of my second year of college, and currently am going to school out of state.

After this semester, I will return to living with my parents, as I have for every other semester in college.

I have realized in my first semster away from home that I use my family as a crutch to make up for an actual social life. Basically, I commute to school, go to class, commute home, and spend my time with my family. Any friends I hang out with are friends from high school, and encounters with them are few and far between.

I have discussed moving out with my folks, but they strongly believe that doing so would require me to get a job which would jeopardize my studies. I disagree, since I have worked 30 hour weeks with a full courseload, but have not yet found a job that can support both my tuition and an apartment.

I am afraid of missing out on life because I use my family as a shield from a real college experience. What do you think, is it time to move out?

My husbands employer received a verification of work for child support in Texas. We have been married 13 years w/ two kids. When he called in they could only tell him that the child would be 17 this month. He did not even recognize the moms name!! He has never heard anything from anyone saying they were pregnant or from any child claiming to be his. What should we do? Can they even go back 17 years if he never had any contact with them? At this point he told them that he would take a blood test. If it is his child what can they do after that time period?? That would have made him 18 @ the time it was conceived. Any advice is so appreciated!!

If there is anyone out there that can help me it would be pretty much a life saver. My brother is one of those guys that always had a hard time growing up. From the first couple of years in grade school to when he finaly called it quits in high school he had always been in special classes. Doctors told my parents that he was one of those kids that were slow but very energetic. They told my parents that when he was 12 his mined was only that of a 6 year old. Anyways my brother is a smart guy hes just been pushed along with out the help he really needed. My parents couldnt afford for him to go to the right school so he just carried on in our over populated public school system in decatur georgia. Now my brother is calling me from jail crying for me to get him out and to help him find the help he needs. My mother told me tonight that she found a suicide note that he wrote. I need to get him help before i loose him. If theres anyone that can help please respond

My son came home last night at 5am and phoned me to unlock the door and let him in. He is making a habit of it.

He refuses to take a key on the premise that it is just another thing that he has to carry that he could lose...

I could leave a key under a mat but out house is very exposed to view and I can imagine him coming home "weary and staggering" and making noise.. somone will see where the key is hidden.

He thinks I should leave the front door unlocked... voiding our insurance. We have been broken into before adn things stolen while we were asleep (he was too young to remember) and that is an awful feeling - so I refuse to leave the door open.

Would you just lock him out in the cold and take the phone off the hook? That seems to be our only remaining alternative - until he decides he should take a key with him! Your suggestions please...

What does everyone think about child molesters and what do you think should be done? I have heard so many things about rehabilitation. Do you think these sick people can be rehabilitated? Or do you think something more drastic should be done to them? In my opinion anyone who harms a child should face the death penalty, if we place them in prison the chances of them coming out alive are almost zero since a lot of prisoners don't like those type of people so the death penalty seems more fitting and they sure as hell shouldn't be released into our neighborhoods.

okay, i'm a teenager, i have two brothers, and we're fostering two kids under the age of two. my parents like pretty much act like the whole world revolves around these two kids. and i'm in my teen years, and i'm kinda sick of having baby toys, and strollers, ect. ALL OVER! and ALL their clothes are in my room! and i barely have enough room for MY CLOTHES! we've had them for 7 months, and if my parents don't say anything, it could be ANOTHER YEAR!!!!! these kids cry and scream over EVERYTHING!!!! for the past 7 months, i've had to buy my own clothes and shoes, b/c my parents are getting all this extra stuff for the kids. but it's like they act like we don't exist and everything revolves around the kids. and before my brother recently got his liceanse, i never got to go shopping or anything, b/c there was always something going on with the kids! my parents say to tell them when it get's to be to much, but i tell them and they don't care! so can i feel this way, or am i self-centered?

The couple in question have shared custody of their children (7 and 9) The mother does not want to pick up their children from their father's place and does not want their father to pick up their children from her place when there is no school or day care. She only wants to exchange their children from a MacDonald parking. I want to emphasize that there is no reason whatsoever on her part to want to exchange children in a MacDonald parking. The father wants their children to be exchanged at their respective home because he believes that they are not commodities and is about respect and dignity. The children do not want to be exchanged at MacDonald parking either, especially the boy saying that he is not a hamburger. The father is suggesting, if she does not want his place or her place, at least to exchange them at a family home when they are with her but when they are with him, he wants them to be pick up from his place. What do you think?
