I am 18 years of age right now, i am planning to go for vacation with my friend but my parents dont want me to go no where. They dont know where my friend lives (her address), only the police knows. Can my parents go to the police station and the police give out my friends address to them? Even though im an adult?

First you don't have to have your parents permission, as you are 18. Second, if the persons address is public information than it doesn't matter if they go to the police, they can get it through public records like the super pages etc. HOWEVER, if they do go to the police, and get the information, there isn't anything that they could do because you are of legal age. The police wouldn't do anything either because YOU ARE LEGAL!!!! Good luck!!

No. Why would the cops even waste their time doing that? Are your parents really that psycho that they would go to the police station to find your friends address? have you been smoking crack?

absolutely not and with you being 18 your parents should give you freedom to live your life but on the flip side i assume you still live at home so you should live by their rules and do all you can to honor them...maybe they know something you don't know and want to save you from heartache

They can do about anything they want...then they will deny it later.... Technically they can't give out personal information. But they do....
You are entitled to privacy....that doesn't mean people will give you privacy.
