Like many women, I tell my mom things that are going on in my life. My mother in law and my mother don't have a good relationship. They despise each other. My mother always asks if I've seen my mother in law and what's new with her. There is always some drama going on and my mother enjoys hearing it. Lately, when I tell her about what's going on (after she asks me)...she gets very annoyed and angry at her or the situation completely changing her mood. She even gets defensive and says things like...well I bought you this and that..what does she ever do? I know my mother hates her. My question is, should I stop telling her the drama so she doesn't get angry anymore?

I'm sixteen and five foot five and three quarters I was wondering what age do the majority of girls stop growing? My mom is five foot seven, my dad is six foot two. My aunt who I mostly take after in traits is five foot six. I was just wondering when do you think I'll stop growing? My step dad said you most likely won't know until you're eighteen. What do you think?

me and my dad get along really well. but he disapproves of my bf. today my bf called and wants me to come over for the weekend. wehn i asked my dad he got upset and told me he isnt lettin his daughter around a guy lik that. we were arguin bout that and then i told my dad that i love my boyfriend and then i told him he could go to hell for all i care. then he slapped me. MY DAD HAS NEVER HIT ME BESIDES LIK A SMACK ON THE BOTTOM WHEN I WAS YOUNG. i feel lik i hate him. but i dont want to cuz i love him so much. but i dont kno. im so shocked and mad that he hit me. i locked myself in my room and have been in here for lik 2 hrs. i kno this isnt really a question but i needed to talk bout it cuz im so angry and frustrated. i guess i can make it a question. Anybody have any thoughts or helpful input? im so close to jus leaving and not coming back.

Ok I had a fallout with my mum today and my friend was here now me and my friend was planning on going into town so i just got ready and coz i was stressed and rushed i was shouting and being mean to my mum so she grounded me so my friend went to bolton with her mum instead and i stayed at home so my mum and i made up but she wasnt letting me go out to buy her some presents for tomorrow so what can i do i neeed to make her something ncie and fast im doing her breakfast in bed some mothers day coupons & a home made card what else ??oh and for people who dont no in the uk mothers day is tomorrow

is so insane? My dad is an alcohlic. My sister is 16 and smokes. My dad always talks to me about how bad it is that she smokes but he can't see his own problems? Why can;t he see that he has problems too?

I'm moving out. My daughter will be with him one week and me the next. I've tried to explain it to her, but she doesn't understand. When she is with me, she keeps pulling me towards the door, wanting to go home. I try to explain to her that she has two homes now, but she ignores me, and throws a tantrum. Arg!!!
My Ex (JERK) is trying to guilt trip me into staying. I CAN'T STAND HIM, when he's around I turn into super bi*ch!!! He makes me feel like I'm failing her, because I don't want to be with HIM anymore. He's making this 10x more difficult than it needs to be. I try not to have an opinion when he's around, because he see's it as an oppurtunity to fight with me!!! He pushes me around and I push back. He expects me to kiss his ***. I won't kiss his *** anymore EVER!!! I feel like I can't do anything right!!! Please serious answers only!
I've been here for 12 years, I've never been happy!! He manipulates me to the point of a nervous breakdown..

It doesnt matter whether my parents come to visit or a friend or complete stranger, they start running about and shouting a each other. They jump over the furniture and I can do nothing to stop them. I am a childminder and have no problems with the minded children or my own when we are at home on our own. My children are 3 1/2. I have 2 other chidren in school who would never have behaved like this--where have I gone wrong and how can I fix it? I really feel like giving up childminding as I think my own boys resent it but I have done it for 9 years without any problems. If I do give up then I will need to go to work and my children would hate to have to go to a childminder. At the moment I am very unhappy about the situation.

Well we have a family poker night evey Friday night so the family can get together and spend time..... I always tell people I cannot do anthing that night because its poker night. But, last night everyone was doing other things and didnt want to play and said we'll just play Saturday. I said I cant because Im busy... It made me kinda mad because they made other plans on our family poker night when I always put mine off. Does anyone else see this as wrong? Was I wrong for being mad?? about it??

Me and my husband offten get in these argument that i'm never happy. i'm pregnant with our second child and yesterday i was having really bad stomach pains, felt sick on my somach, a little fever and an acking body. and i told him this and he said oh ok and continued what he was doing. and later i asked him to rub my stomach and back, but he had this look like i don't want to. where we are it was cold and raining. which was no problem because the cold air makes my body ack, and i didn't want to have my other child in the rain. later his sister and brother where going out with some friends, and he asked me if i wanted to go out with them, and i said no. and he had the nerves to ask me WHY NOT. i said because i've told you all day that mt body hurt, but you act like you don't care. which that lead into an arguement. now this isn't the first time he has not paid attenchen to me when i'm sick. but if he's sick i'm there for him. is it me or is he in the wrong?

My Mom and Aunt come over and eat any junk food in my house. The devour everything like a pack of locusts. If I have no junk food, they will rip open bags of chocolate chips. My aunt is diabetic and will eat so much sugar in one sitting she will throw up. My Mom does the same thing at my sister's house, even eating all the candy they were saving for a holiday. How could we solve this problem?

My dad and my aunt have been fueding for years. So that mean I can't see my awesome cousins. I can't talk to my dad about it because he's sensitive. But I want to see my cousins. I HAVE to move..I paid my ex boyfriend of 10 years $30,000.00 to buy him out of our house and STUPID me got nothing in writting and he took me to court and my 2 sons and I have to sell and move out by June. I, 2007.. also do NOT get any of the equity. I also put alot of money into fixing up the house the 10 years we lived here...new roof, window, cement drive..etc...I could go on and on..I KNOW>>ME DAH! anyways anyone know anyplace that rents to people with pets for we have 2 dogs. It would only be me and my 14 yr old son. My oldest son is going off on his own. THANK YOU!

My parents have been married for 29 years. My dad has been an alcoholic since 2004. He has never tried to get treatment and laughs when we call him an alcoholic. I am married and 12 weeks pregnant. My mom and I are best friends and I always know when something is up with her and it is always because my dad had some drunken rage and either got mad at her for some stupid little thing(example: got mad at her because she got the mail instead of him) or he has a drunken rage and just decides out of the blue that my 16year old sis cannot go somewhere that night because he doesnt want her to(note that he only disciplines her when he is drunk) My dad is in denial completely and yes he does drink and drive and I can't take it anym ore. I cannot even count how many nights my sister or mother has called me wanting me to pick them up because he wont let them out of the garage to leave in the car.When I get to the house(20 minutes away) to pick them up usually they come stay at my husbands

one who is always giving his opinion even when not asked; and always judges things but does not like it when you do the same many times.

Is like he can do and be things but you can't, but can be flexible at times only is frustrating not to have better arguments to prove they are not right on it all.

How do you handle that?

is very annoying im 12 and he is 16 and he keeps singing this really annoying song and he keeps comlaining that my cat is in his way when my cat is not bothering any one. he might just be trying to be funny but its getting annoying... he also put snow on my kitten about an hour ago . and he keeps saying im da king in my ear.... he dosent have mental problems! i think he just wants to annoy me or he ate to much candy but how do i make him go away!

my little sister is acting very clingy twards me. This morning i found her sitting on my bed watching tv when i woke up. and now shes sitting behind me trying to do my hair. Hi, I'm 30, a Teacher, and I live a good, clean life.
However, I have certain family members who ask VERY Personal Questions to me and that makes me feel uncomfortable. Example, they will ask "how much money are you making", "does your best friend have AIDS?", etc?
I think asking questions like that is wrong--but they will keep asking me over and over. When I do answer them--they will immediatley tell other people.

I believe that I have a right to privacy---but my family members feel that we are "all family", and that I am "seceretive".Its because they are a bunch of gossiping blabbermouths that I dont tell them everything..How can I avoild Lying to them when they start asking personal questions--while being honest??!

Plus, what are you feelings about people in your family who ask personal questions ?? Is that good etiquette?
