I"m 12 years old and al my friedns can go on dates but my mom wont let me! My sister is 22 and she said when she was in 7 grade she was aloud on dates! What can i tell my mom to let me go?

Ask her if she'd go along with you, and invite his mom as well. Maybe that'll help calm her, and she'll let you two go the next time.

I totally agree with your Mother. You are way too young for dating. I think your Mom is more cautious with you because it is a different world out there. Take your time and just have fun being a pre-teen and then a teenager. Enjoy hobbies, buying clothes, school, and friends..don't get involved with the "one steady" thing so young...It is not a good idea. You need to be a teenager and then when you get to be about 17 or 18, then you can really start dating. Don't be in such a hurry.

Sweetie, times are different than they were 10 years ago. Kids are exposed to too much. You may be a good kid but moms aren't too sure about the other kids. Personally, i don't believe a kid your age should date, but parents are different. Let her get to know the guy you want to date. After getting to know him regularly, for about a month or two, then see what she says. If she says no, Sweetie you have a life time of fun to get involved in, and those times WILL be amazing. I promise.

You are only 12 years old. I know you feel like you are ready to date, but real dating takes a lot of work. You have plenty of time to go on dates. Just be patient. Trust me, dates aren't always the most fun thing ever. You really will have more fun with some good friends.

im 13 and my mom doesnt like me to go on dates with guys but i still do and i will tell her but u should just ask your mom y and if she dosent have a good reason then be like u dont have a good reason and u can trust me just let me do it and if somethin bad happens then u dont have to let me go on dates any more

just keep begging her and bring that thing up about ur sister being aloud to date, im not even aloud to date and im older than you, but dont rush it your mom will let you date in time

12 is too young. After you learn how to drive, you will be old enough.
