my friend grw up in a house where for 7 years straight she has seen her father abusing her mom..now she's in college but never talked to anybody about the issue. She's afraid of guys and love and thinks that the same thing will happen to her like it happened to her mom. How can I help her? She does not want to seek help from doctor. PLEASE GIVE ME Some good advice so I can help her. She's like a sister to me

Is my family estranged?
I'm in my 20s..I have a mom and sis , we are close. My extended family who is my Moms sister, her husband, their 3 sons(my cousins) who are in their 40s and their wives make up the extended family. Long story but they always make fun of us cause they have more money, their mean, and controlled us.
We decided to have some space from them but still be polite. Out of the blue , Cousins wife leaves a message saying how dare we go to Europe for x-mas, not call her husband on his 48th birthday and says "we dont want a repsonse from any of you"
My Mom thought it was best not to reply and wait for another family member to contact us, no one has including her sister and its been 3 years now since we have seen or heard from anyone. There is one cousins wife who calls around x-mas, acting like she know nothing about what happened and asks about 100 personal questions and then she never calls again.

My spouse has ten siblings and I couldn't believe how un-Walton they were!These were all adults who were jealous of each other and especially jealous of the attention from the parents.

Should I go to her hen night or even the wedding?
She tells my kids off with no reason-she has no kids of her own. She looks down her nose at my family( hubby her fiances brother, me and her future neice and nephew) tells me to have normal hair (have dredds) tells hubby not allowed to say anything crude in best man speech and also states that our son should not wear his earing (which is tiny and very
un-noticable) She shops at knight n Lee. I shop at Asda and proud of my family, my children say please and thank you and have been taught right from wrong.....

I'm twelve, and I can't even walk to my school (which is 5 minutes away) by myself. I have to walk with my parents or when my grandparents are here, they have to be with me.

How embarassing is that? I understand my parents love me, and don't want me to die or stuff, but I wish there was a day I could walk in the mall by myself, or in the park by myself.

What should I say? I've talked with my parents already, and they said I'd have to be 15 when I go to the mall by myself. I was guttered.

I'm not talking curfews or anything, I know that's crazy, but I want the freedom to do what my friends can do. I've shown responsiblity by calling my parents exactly when they wanted me to call them, when I was at my friend's house. My friends call me crazy when I worry about calling my parents a second late. I've done this a million times, but they don't worry about the trust thing. It's the bad-guy, murderer kind of thing.

i'v been havein problm with my dad 4 a while 4 about 4 moouths it started on christmas day he was i guatemala with his gurl firend he didn't bother 2 tell us that he left and on christmas he didnt call like he all way dose i got so mad at him because before this he came 2 my house and the whole time he was there all he did was talk 2 gurl friends he dosent give a crap about me or my brouther s and sister so i didnt talk 2 him for about 1 mounth .... when i ended up taking 2 him he said that he didnt care about how i felt about his gurl friend and1 day going 2 marry her that right theresaid 2 me that he didnt care about him i hung up on him and i stated crying ...i never cry about any thing unless some one dyes he also said that he will move over there with her but he couldnt cause we need him and i think that a bunch of crap........i really dont know what 2 do i think i dont need himm at alllllll so if u can help me that would be graet !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am looking for my brother Derek Szulimowski, he will be 51 years old now. He lived in Salford /Manchester and was once married to Patricia Darcy. Hi I'm 16 and my dad hates me he also has no parents since he was 3 they both died. He satrted saying that he wished i was nevere born since like i was 9 he has always been this way to me. But to my sister he is always nice to. she can so anything and she would never get in trouble. nut if i do the same thing i would get yelled at so much. My dad alwayes hates me. Like today he is mad at me and hew wont even tell me why. I just woke up and my borther said that my dad is mad at me. I kno that i dont study alot and my dad yells at me for that but i still get good grades. My dad alwyas says that he wishes i was not born he says i will drop out and he also fights with my mom alot about me. He always get mad at me for no reason espicalyy when i need something important. I have seen that when ever i need to get something he get mad at me. And also in holidays and bdays he is always yelling at me and saying you better be a nicer sonn this year. in my life my dad never said i love you ever.

My mum just recently died and my brother is gone out of his mind. I need some help. He refuses to see anyone, he refuses to go to an adult who will help him, like social services and a theripist, he doesn't want to go there. What should I do? He's gone crazy. He yells alot, he never use to do that. He pushed our little sister to the ground. He cries all the time, he goes to bed crying and he wakes up crying, my sister cries all the time to, but I think it's because my brother has been mean to her, he has never been mean to her before. What's gotten in to him? I want to get him to a perfessional, but he just won't go. I'm scared of what he'll do next. PLEASE HELP.

Not in speakng terms with my hubby sister .why?.she did not want me to know that she had a baby ..but told my husband alone,i was hurt that she informed him not to tell me.
now my hubby wants to go on vacation with all his family members ..includes his sis as well.what do i do....ignore her and go OR let my hubby go alone [ which he refuses to go ]

to see a psychiatrist when all I needed was love from her, these people further traumatized me by telling me I had no control over my happiness and that I had inherited a mental illness, I was put in antidrepressants wich had horrible side effects which was traumatizing, then I was sent to a mental hospital where I witnessed a gril trying to commit suicide, and a girl who acted literally like she was possesed by the devil.
All this traumatized me more.
All could have been stopped if instead of blaming my brain on my sadness, my mother would have given me the love and guidance I needed.
I jsut needed to talk about this, I feel so mistreated.

My two boys (6 and 5) and I share a room at my mother's house. There are 3 bedrooms and 7 people so everyone is crowded. I have a bunk bed for the boys, my bed and a chest of drawers, dresser, and smaller dresser for our clothes. There is not enough room to have much else, but I feel horrible because they can't even play with their toys comfortably. We have been here since July and it doesn't look like we are going anywhere soon. Does anone have any suggestions? I am ou of ideas. I have bought storage bins, shelves, etc., which are all great ideas, but I don't even have enough room for them. Help please. I am desperate.

I am a single mom because my husband left me after my second son was born. I try to be the best mother i can but i am failing some how. My sons who are now 14 and 17 stay out late. My 17 year old smokes and drinks all the time. They dont care at all about me and how much work i am putting in to support my family. I then was searching though the web to get help and i came to this site

It is all about how you can discilpline boys by putting them in girl clothe or diapers. They have so many letters about mom's who have done that and their kids have turned out much better. Do you think i should resert to this because i am about to loose it.

Today is my daughter's birthday. We are having her birthday party tomorrow, at a pizza resturant, just having family there.

Where we are having the party has a buffet, and my family was told that if they want to eat lunch, they have to pay for their own food, we just can't afford to pay for everyone's meals. We are just having the party there and bringing the cake.

Well my sister in law, said that she's not sure that her and my niece and my brother can make it if my wife and I are not paying for everyone's meals.

We went to this resturant a while back as a family and my wife and I payed for everyone. This woman if we were not coming to my nieces birthday party would be complaining that we don't care about our niece at all.

It just gets really upsetting, we just want our daughter to have a good birthday party and she has to pull her selfish crap.

Just curious s to what you all think.

I know it sounds sooo stupid but several members of my close family including my mum and it does worry me and annoy me. In just over 2 weeks the smoking ban will come in to place where I live and my family are going mad over it - but I just said to them, why not TRY to give up, even TRY!! It will be so much easier to go aroun without being restricted to where you can go. But no they are just angry. Which I can understand as it is their choice just as we all have habits but....

I am close to my family and friends, I lost my nan cos of cancer almost 3 yrs ago and my grampy due to heart attack, they both smoked, altho I dont know if thats what caused it and I was close to them so it was upsetting. But I want my family especially my mum to stop cos I do worry for their health. Also they smoke around me and if I say something especially my mum they just go ''I could be an alcoholic or eat loads instead and car fumes are worse'. Im not being selfish Im worried for them like they would.

okay, i'm a teenager, we have two foster kids. (under the age of 2) and we've have them for about 7 months (that's a LONG time!) i keep telling my parents that i'm ready to let somebody else take care of them. but they just tell me i'm self-centered.
but i'm not ready to have kids in the house, and all the toys, strollers, ect. that come w/ haveing baby's. plus they have TERRIBLE attitudes!!! like majorly, so i deal w/ all of this 24/7!!!
they also have special diets, so it seems like they always say "oh we need to go get food for the kids" and seems like there is not a whole lot of food for us, b/c it's like they forget about us. (i have two other siblings)
i also have had to buy my own clothes shoes ect. for this whole 7 months, b/c they have to buy all this stuff for the kids! and i don't even have a job!!!
i'm just ready to have my life back to normal!!!! how can i tell them, and what do i say then they just say i'm self-centered?

Wizard of Oz party!! Help!!!!!!!!?
I need some advice on how to wear my hair. up on the top of my head like a palm tree or what? I am dressing up as a Munchkin.......The party is tomorrow!! I am singing "Somewhere over the rainbow" and "The lolly-pop Kids" The ages are 6-months to 12 years old. And the birthday girl is turning 3 y/o.. What games would be good? We have a pinata,Pin-The-tail-on-the-Don... And musical chairs. One room is going to be Emraled City And the other room is Munchkin land. Only me and the B-day girl are dressing up. Please Help!!! Also, tell me is an Aqua-Doodle flip 'n doodle. And Big Bubbler. both brands are "spinmaster" Would they be a good prestent for her? Please tell me!!!
