okay my little dork of a brother is all up in face and in my stuff and won't leave me alone! does anyone have any good ideas on how to get rid of my biggest pet peeve(my brother)? unless someone would like a little brother! he's free (if you get what i'm saying)

Hi folks,
I have reels of 8mm films, inherited from my grandfather.
I have reasonably shone these onto his old screen, in a darkened room, with my digital video camera duly tri-podded & focused on said screen.
The results are OK, but without having it done "professionally"
how may I improve on the image quality ?

i have never known my dad. aparently when he found out my mum was pregnant, he left her... he wasnt a bogan or anything (he is a pilot) he just didnt want me. me and my mum always fight... i cant recall a week when we havnt. its only me and my mum in our house so it gets crouded... butover the last week when i fight with her i have been thinking about my dad, i keep wishing he had never left and that he was still here and why he didnt want anything to do with me! and in result, every night of this week i cried myself to sleep... over the last year i have tried to get in2 contact with him but no luck. anyone got good advice?

my mum is always telling me that i cant have a boyfriend untill i am 16 bcaz that is the legal age 2 have sex, im 13!!! what does she take me for?!!! i wouldnt do that! and everytime i go out with one of my best friends (who is a guy) she gives me a talk on how kissing is bad and stuff... HE'S MY FRIEND! and she always thinks this... i feel like she doesnt trust me and that she takes me for a ... well a slut *sorry for the language* becaus she thinks that i will have sex!!! it is really annoyin! wot do u think?

My father passed away in 2001. They weren't quite sure of the cause and they sent his info or what ever to the Disease Capitol for the autopsy. Because my father was in Vietnam he told my mother that if somethign should happen to him suddenly or under strange circumstances she should have him tested for Agent Orange. So when the DC called us to tell they couldn't really say for sure what had killed him my mother asked for that test the woman said they didn't know how to test for that, (total BS). My mother asked for a copy of the autopsy and she said they would send it right out and hung up immediatly. Never heard back from them and never recieved a copy. Can anyone help?

I have five children, four grown up, three with kids of their own. for the second year in a row, there has been no acknowledgement in any way of that fact by three of the four eldest. my youngest is 14, still lives at home, gave me a card and made me tea and toast this morning; but I know this would not have happened if my partner hadn't organised it. My eldest daughter is 30 with a child of her own; my eldest son, age 26, there is an excuse for, he has just had a baby of his own, and is very caught up in that. I will probably get a call from my other daughter later today; my other son of 24 is living less than six miles away, and I have not heard from him. My partner has gone out with the dog; the youngest is in his mates' house on the Playstation. It feels horrible. Am I being unreal in my expectations; did I rear them badly-or am I the only one feeling like this?

It is so obvious they are trying to cause trouble and I think they know i used to get angry very easily and argue.

MY sisster is saying alot of horrible things about my mum it upsets me as my mum adores her my other sisster is using my feelings to try and make her self look good by telling me certain people have been speaking about me.

Do you think i should say something or just leave them to it ??

hi, i have a sis & a bruva. i get on sooo much better with my sister & i feel really bad about it. i live in the same house as my bruva & most days we dont speak. its not like i hate him or anything i just dont particularly like him. when my sisters home im really happy, and our mum says dont leave your brother out. i cant help it but i just dont like him, his personality & i dont feel like we can be friends. i feel like when i leave home or he does we will loose contact because would never ring or or want to meet up. feel soo bad i feel this way, but cant help it. any advice? just to clarify we are not little immature kids, who argue all the time. we are just indifferent to each other, he has finished uni.

My friends needs some advice and i can't write what he wants to say so i am going to let him write it.

my father came back into my life after 15 years, he left cause people said that my mother was cheating on him, and she told him i wasn't his. and i heard a family member talking about the rumor was a joke and that person is like when he sees a friend mad has nothing to say he tries to make up a joke or comment, and he had to of said it no doubt that person did, and than my father calls me, and they pick up and every time they answer i come into the subject, and they say everything bad about me, and the reason i would do something bad or wrong is because i dont talk, very much, and they hate me cause i dont talk, and even when i do talk its worse than i would talk. and so i snap cause they purposely do things that make me snap, and do those bad things or wrong things. and so when everything is almost good they say and do things like move out, and for no reason, and yell about it

I am 24 years old. I was out with a guy friend tonight and my mom called in the middle of the visit to ask where I was what we were doing and when I gave her the basic details (e.g. I'm with "John" in Colchester, we're watching a movie; I'll stop by the house before I work tonight) She wasn't satisfied with the answers that I gave her. When she kept after me (But WHERE are you? What TIME will you be home? You know you have to work! Are you giving yourself enough time?) When I repeatedly told her that everything was fine and not to worry, she got her proverbial feathers ruffled. I know that I'm going to get the guilt trip routine tomorrow like never before. My mom is one of my best friends! I've confronted her before on things like this, but she just doesn't get it. Any suggestions? I'm feeling the guilt even before she starts tripping me! lol
