I never attempted to discipline my parents...I mouthed off but never hit or swore at my parents. My father had limited rational ...there is no spirit within and he was violent and I STILL knew my place despite both my mothers being a mess from having a childish husband. None of my friends, and I lived in a huge neighborhood full of testy boys who were disciplined, chose to lay a hand on their parents. Parent hitting never came up in my childhood not once. I had it out with my father not too long ago but hitting and calling him foul names wasn't present.

I was not exposed to the money trolls of today that lead the young to believe they can intrude in their parents business under any circumstances.

well to answer your question,, i am a dad of 6,, 4 boys 2 girl,, now so for 2 boys thought of me as being old an helpness,,,,,,but they soon learn,, you dont mess with dad,,, after i got done,, an the fight was over, both say , dad you hit to damm hard,,,, i love my kids, an when they fell a little froggest i told them to hop,,,,,, no i neve even thought of hitting my mom are dad, but i had more sence to know better,,,,, so this go out to you kids,, just because you young, an you think ,we can fight,,, rember we be on this world longer, an know a lot more than you do,,,

Why would one wish to slap any of his/her parents?
They try their best to bring us up....you may discuss your views with them...they are of a different generation, so they may not agree with your views...so talk with them and make them see your point of view...or live on your own...or wait till you are older, if you cannot do so right now.I do not think violence is ever the answer to any problem...with parents or with anyone else.So slapping is a big NO.

my dad. he pisses me off so bad. he'll yell at me for something i didnt do then expect me to be at his beck and call like i really have the time. and i'll ask him a question and he wont answer then i'll have to get mom to ask him the question. he'll call me from out of my room that is across the house from the living room just to get him the remote which is only about 3 feet away from him. when his family is coming over. he'll tell me, my sister, and my mom to clean the whole house and he'll dictate us from the couch where he'll be sitting watching something and eatting. but its not like i could ever say this stuff to his face... or slap him. he'd get mad and make me do more pointless chores.
