Is your Mom going through menopause. I had similar situation
growing up. We clashed like oil and water. Now, she is old and we get along fine. It sounds like she is frustrated and taking
it out on you. She might be unhappy with her life with you dad.
After she has a temper tantrum does she feel remorse? People
say things in the heat of the moment and then regret it late. I will
pray for your situation. There are things that only God can help
you with.

Start talking to your dad - much! Moms can get pretty angry - you don't say how old you are or what you do when she gets that angry. All those things are important. Yes, it's great to be able to handle anger calmly and deal rationally. But let's say you are 14, got caught for the 3rd time cheating in school, never listened to your parents when they were angry and disappointed about that and just act like you don't understand English when they try to talk to you about your grades, your lies and now they hear that you might have been shoplifting! To tell you the truth, I don't even know you but I'd scream at you and tell you to get out of the house now just because I'd be so afraid that I'd lose my temper and hit you!
Yeah, I think more information is in order. Parents do have limits. Moms do scream but what do they scream about? We need the whole story. And you need to talk to your dad.

I'm sorry if this is going to sound insensitive, but I just have to say it.
A man was walking through a department store and there was a woman there with two children; a boy and a girl, and the children were just awful; throwing things; running up and down the aisles and being real nuisances, and mom couldn't seem to do anything with them. As they neared him in the
aisle, he stopped the mother and asked her if the children were Twins. She looked at him, and in a very angry tone said, "Are you blind or freaking crazy! Do they look like Twins? I mean, he is 7 and she is 11 years old! How could you possibly mistake them for Twins?" The man looked at her and said, "Hell, I just figured as ugly as you are...no one would have laid you twice!!"
I'm sorry...I just thought of that after your question.
I am so sorry for you that mom says these terrible things to you. She is obviously very unhappy with her own life and is taking it out on you. Do you have any siblings and are they subjected to the same kind of remarks from Mom? You might try and talk to her sometime when she is in a good mood and let her know that these things she says really hurts you.

I presume you're talking with regard to the husband and spouse who got here on the Oprah prepare? I had no concept the delivery had taken place as yet, and am extremely joyful to take heed to there replaced right into a organic transport. i'm hoping all is unquestionably with them, as they actually don't have uncovered themselves in this way, and are in all probability taking plenty merciless flak! I say to all intents and applications because of the fact the husband sounds like a guy, feels happier being a male, (albeit for the relax women's organs, that's inner maximum counsel) even having the breasts got rid of, he's a guy. it could be fairer, if all men had the determination of being waiting to hold their very own toddler, to shop the lady from being the only tortured one, and having their waist stretched to Kingdom come, for those 9 months! What gender might you supply a Hermaphrodite if the more suitable gender function taken replaced into male? A being pregnant going on for despite motives, might additionally be in the minority, as gays have been at one time. it will be prevalent because of the fact the norm, and there could be extra information.

Most mothers are codependant ("enablers"), which means they'll tell you "I'm doing this for your own good". Your mother might have told you this some time, but codependant mothers never stop saying it.
Your mom is obviously trying to hurt you, perhaps out of frustation because in her own opinion you are not living a life she thinks is good for you. Maybe she thinks that by hurting you she will dissuade you from doing what displeases her.
(I'm assuming she would yell at you and get physical if you get home late from a party, from example)
A good idea would be to show her you are aware of her anger when she gets mad (don't be like "I don't care" and walk away)
My mom can be very much like that with us. Especially with my sister. What I personally try to do is compromise. Find common ground and settle on agreements and keep my promises, etc.
You may think that it's unfair that YOU should have to adjust.
If you don't want to "let her think she won", you could also completely ignore her. She will eventually become to sad to talk and die.
(I was being sarcastic and rhetorical)
The truth is, most of us don't get along with our mothers. But that doesn't mean we should just stop trying.

It isn't very nice but it happened in my house too. Your whole life you have to rise above other peoples psychological shortcomings. Be secure in who you are and make good desicions and stop the cycle. Even a yelling Mom probably has your best interests at heart, don't let the fact she doesn't know how to communicate take away from your respect for your own mother.

This is abuse, no child or person should ever be put through this kind of torment. If you would rather live with another relative or a foster family, i would talk to a school counsoler if you are in school or the police. You should not have to hear these things. It will never stop if youo let it keep going and not report it.

sweetie i went through the same thing my mom loved to grab me up and slap me around. she would leave scars all over me . if they wanted me for something they would say fallon bring your ugly @ss here now. i never lkied that because i already had low selfesteme. but i would go in my room and separate my self from the rest of the world and thought about my life after my family. once i did that i worked hard to get out on my own so i could have a better life. you need to stand up to your mom and let her know she cant treat you like that your a humanbeing and she needs to start respecting you as her child

No this is not normal. Just try to understand it isn't your fault. no one should have to live this way. Try talking to a school counselor or another trusted adult. It sounds like your mom has some problems or is just an angry person. Please don't let it get you down, you will be on your own someday and you won't have to take abuse like this, you don't deserve to be treated this way.

My mother doesn't say things like this to me but I sometimes wonder if my 2 yr old was switched at birth as he is such a clown he could be the love child of Norman Wisdom and I often say to him, "I can't believe I gabe birth to you" however I am joking when I say this. How old are you? Tell your mum to stop being a scary beast and take a chill pill!
