My father passed away in 2001. They weren't quite sure of the cause and they sent his info or what ever to the Disease Capitol for the autopsy. Because my father was in Vietnam he told my mother that if somethign should happen to him suddenly or under strange circumstances she should have him tested for Agent Orange. So when the DC called us to tell they couldn't really say for sure what had killed him my mother asked for that test the woman said they didn't know how to test for that, (total BS). My mother asked for a copy of the autopsy and she said they would send it right out and hung up immediatly. Never heard back from them and never recieved a copy. Can anyone help?

Because of the circumstances and reason you want the copy of the autopsy, I would get a lawyer to pursue the request.

Did your mom call them back after she didn't receive a copy within a reasonable amount of time? It might not hurt to call again and make another request. If that fails, definitely get legal representation to pursue the matter.

I really can't answer from experience, but when your request is being ignored, it's generally time to get someone else to handle it.
