For my Sisters,
Say a prayer of THANKS for any
and ALL things mom taught you,
...all things YOU will pass on to others.
If you HAVE children,
say a blessed prayer of THANKS
BECAUSE ~
YOU are THEIR MOTHERS.

Celebrate the memories,
the good times with our mommy's.
Say a prayer for peace of mind.
Peace of mind accomplished after a good cry
... if
That is what YOU need.

To NOT care would be worse,
to DENY how much WE CARED?!
LOVED ones are counting on us,
Give them what our mothers SHARED.

All things will happen ,
IN there OWN sweet season.
Our lives ARE to LIVE,
carry on with FAITH and REASON.

We go on and grieve,
I 'd not have it any other way,
Say a prayer of LOVE,
and SHARE your blessed DAY.

If you and your sister or brother were stranded on an island for 2 years, would you consider making whoopie with him or her? Commenting sick and yuck doesn't count. Yes or No

recently I went to a birthday party at my friends house.
And as I was leaving my mother told me to call her "when I got home".
I left and through the course of the night I had a lot of fun.
So much fun that I wasn't paying attention to the time, and we hadn't talked about a specific time I should call just to check in or anything so I figured I would just call later.
It got to be around 2 in the morning when I called the house.
I told my mom that the party hadn't died down and I asked her if I could spend the night because I didn't really see a practical way for me to get home at this time of night.
She got really angry with me and told me that I should just spend the night.
I'm grounded untill my 16th birthday which is may 25th. During my time being grounded I can't hang out with my friends on the weekends or after school..

I get good grades and I'm very good about doing the housework. I tell my parents a lot, which is more than i can say for most teenagers..
why won't she trust me?

It's becoming a real problem with my family- my mum has a complete inability to make decisions; she's been this way ever since I was a kid, but has gotten much worse in later years.
We need to get out house painted -badly- and she's been putting a lot of time into preparation, even consulting friends and interior designers. It's been like this for five whole years, but we never actually get anywhere because she simply can't decide on the colours! She'd whittled it down to two different shade of orange, but then she just gave up. I'm becoming really stressed out, because not only is this extremely frustrating, but it's putting an enormous strain on the family; Dad's threatening to move to Thailand (we live in Australia).
I've tried to talk it over with Mum, but whenever I do, she just goes beserk, and is never willing to listen to me. *Groan.
Any adive would be helpful, I'm desperate at this point.

My MIL and my daughter are constantly a nusiance asking me to watch kids and get angry when we say no. My MIL has custody of my stepson (husband was in active military before we met and he could not take care of son and biological mother has not had contact with child for seven years now) and she still likes to party. The weekends are hers as she so loudly proclaims. But my husband and I like to go out on the weekends also. She insists that we take him every weekend for her or she will go to the court system and tell them that his father is neglecting him. My husband pays child support and does spend time with his son. We have appointments sometimes during the week and on Tuesdays she likes to go to the Legion Hall to party and karaoke, demanding we give up our plans so she can get a break and get out. My daughter is over every day and brings her five boys to our little one bedroom apartment and stays and stays even after we asked her not to come over so often. What can we do?

He barely calls me, he barely txt's me, he wants to come down for a weekend to get to know me better, he keeps telling me to be careful about who I talk to on the net, he sticks up for me when no one else will, he lives in the U.S and I live in Canada I know its expensive to call Canada if you live in the U.S. Are these signs he is a stalker?

Any suggestions on something nice to get my mom that my brother and I can go in on together (we're adults btw, so we're looking at spending a bit).

*We don't live in the same state as our mom, so spending an afternoon with lunch and shopping, and all that won't do.

She'll fuss and nag until I go to bed. I keep telling her I'm 18, and that It should be my sole responsibility and choice what time I go to bed. Yes, later in the day or in church I admit I'm sleepy, but I GET UP AND GO. I'm responsible, so I don't understand while she continues to insist as long as I don't let my all-nighters interfere with what I have to do.

Am I right for thinking this is ridiculous? It really irks me. I'd like some opinions of adults and teens.

She goes on and on about me being disobeideant. But it makes me feel like I'm 10 or something. It's really frustrating. Who's right in this situation? :/

I lost the copy of my baptismal certificate. I went to the church to secure another one just to find out someone messed up with the names of my father and mother and I'm also registered having a different surname. Now the one in charge told me in order for them to be able to make the necessary corrections I'd have to submit my birth certificate (which I'm also trying to fix since it's not registered on the NSO). Then I'd have to ask the Archbishops permission to make the correction (this takes a lot of time I suppose). Should I just have another baptism to get another certificate bec I don't want to go thru all the fuss of having all these corrections made?

My dad (step) has been here for me for almost 8 years.
But he has only said " I love you" a number of times, i cant even count them on two hands.
I always do everything I can for him whenever I have free time.
When he is thirsty I get him a drink, and considering what kind of mood he is in, he'll tell me he loves me.
He also plays an online game, which has taken over his life.
He doesnt realize it, but it is having negative affects on me.
He wont come play a game with his kids, becuase he has to run a quest or some bullcrap thing. he doesnt want to help out with somthing i need help with becuase he's TOO BUSY, at the moment, with his damn game.

Im so tired of giving so much with so little in return, and feeling like im unwanted, and being used.

i just want a few more minuites a day of family time, he wont even play a game on family game night becuase he has somthing else to do,

he asked me to have his last name, and i said yes.

was that the wrong way to go?

So i live with my older sister and her two year old son. I just moved in about 3 weeks ago after falling on hard times in my own place and she offered to let me stay with her. I am so very grateful to her, but there is something that has truly started to bug me. I do not have a job or anything right now so i just stay at home most of the time seeing as i've no car and all the people i know live on the otherside of town. But lately she has started leaving her son with me more and more oftenwhile she goes out. And she doesnt even ask me if its ok before she does it, she basically just tells me she is leaving and then leaves him with me without even asking. And it is starting to occur on a daily basis. How do i tell her that i do not want to raise her son while she is out partying without making her angry? Especially after all she has done for me. I dont want her to think i am ungrateful, but at the same time i am feeling VERY used. What should i say to her? Should i say anything at all?

Why doesn't my mother let me have a boyfriend. i'm the only girl out of 3 children and i am in the middle of both my brothers 14 13 and 8. She lets my lil brother have a girlfriend and she's older than him by a year. and if we play around saying that my big brother has a girl shes ok with it but if anybody says (even playin around) that i have a boyfriend she gets mad and says i won't have one till i'm 18. i know i do it anyway butanytime im talkin on the phone even if its with a gurl she says "who is it? put on speaker! let me hear if its a girl or boy!" and i hate it. then when guys do call me they don't let me talk. or they say "sha can't talk, she's in the restroom!" even though im standing right there in the kitchen. she says she trusts me but i know she doesn't! i hate it! i wish i could tell her the truth but i know she'll take it way out of porportion. why is it that she does that??? what can i do for her to trust me?

ps...she's a single mom. my dad is nowwhere to be found:(

First I love males because I have a father and two grandfathers plus a boyfriend slightly younger than me. He's still 17 and I turned 18. What I noticed of the males in my life is that they retain a certain dependency on their wives which borders on the juvenile. My mother and my grandmother often have to make doctor's appointments for them and inevitably accompany them to speak to the doctor otherwise they would not go to the doctor. My dad and his friends have this fascination with football and often watch it. They like to come to my house and watch it on Monday and my boyfriend gets into the act with them. Lately they haven't been doing that because either my dad lost interest in football (hope against hope!!) or they stopped having it. They jump around and yell and drink beer and eat real spicy food and do I have to continue. My mom tell me to lighten up. My dad has romantic interests (according to my mom) but he needs quit the junk food or his thing wont stiffen for her.

and I am getting SO sick and tired of it. What should i do to make her learn her lesson? She's 11, so she can reach the light switch, but she just doesn't care. I always yell at her for it and tell her to turn them off, but she just says "if you're so worried about it, then YOU do it" so I always have to turn off everything for her. Please give me advice. It's driving me insane. Well, more insane than before, anywyay...

My cousin is 13, in 8th grade.,, She wears a on of makeup, dresses sexy. Her parents split up and her Mom works 3 jobs and has no control over her. As soon as her dad left she became like this, before she was a quiet girl. The change is drastic. I'm worried about her, she hangs out with 18 year olds and 19 year olds. I think something dangerous can happen, how do i help her? She tells me shes an adult and does not look 13, its ridiculous.
