I was walking past my parents bedroom last nite & heard dad say something about wanting to ride something, like a pony...then i heard an excited scream. What does it mean is happening in there?

It means he bought her a pony for her birthday and she expressed her happiness by screaming.

I will give you the same answer my husband gave our daughter at age 3 when she walked in on us ... "Mommy and Daddy are playing leapfrog. go watch t.v." ..... "No you can't play too, go watch t.v."... "For the love of God, go watch t.v. and I will buy you a car."
Coincidentally he installed a much better lock on the bedroom door the very next morning.....
Our daughter is still waiting on the car he promised her... lol
