Hi, I am a college freshmen and currently work at a really nice burlesque strip club and have saved up money for spring break but the thing is my parents think that my friend is paying for us to go to orlando fl but infact it is me. They cant know about my job or anything like that but now my mom wants to talk really fast with my friends parents to just make sure everything is ok and stuff. I dont have any options right now and I wish I could tell them the truth but they are much too close minded. IS there anyone willing to pretend to be my friends mom and talk really fast to my mom? I will give you more details and etc over email.. anyone willing to help me out?

during a divorce, the father wins custody of his 5 year old son. the mother was proven an unfit parent by the courts. two years later, she wants custody back. her life is still very unstable. she moves to different men's houses about every two months. does she have to prove the father an unfit parent in order to regain custody?

I have my reasons. I'm not some stupid angst ridden 10 year old who thinks that they can drink lake water and hunt. Then run away for half a day, coming home before it was noticed they were gone. I just want to go for two days and then decide what to do. I was just wondering what I should take. Oh and please don't try to talk me out of it. I'm not in a "loving and supporting" environment. To say the least.

I use to live in Cali with mythree children, I moved to NH in Dec. with my two older kids, leaving my youngest with her father under a personal agreement (not certified) that he would relocated to NH with her or let me come get her if his plans changed. There is no custody (from what I'm told) and yet another state holds jurisdiction (south dakota). He's since then given me a fake address and refuses to talk to me directly. I do talk to my daughter here and there, through his girlfriend. I have talked to the sheriff's dept. , DA's office, and the FBI.. non willing to help me get my daughter back. I don't know what to do and with no communication with him at all, I don't know what he's doing. I know alot would say I'm stupid for leaving her there, but know that he convinced me 101% that he was all for relocating, or I would have never left her.. EVER! I have some court papers, but have been told that they are not worth the paper they are written on, any suggestions?

I'm only 24 but he is such an amazing support to me, I don't know what I'll do when he's gone. I have a husband and lots of great friends, but I've never met anyone who understands me as well as him. No one else can pick me up when I'm down.

I am 20yrs old and I aways ask for my mother's approval or opinion when I want to make certain decisions in my life. Like when choosing a career (because I am a person who changes her mind constantly when choosing a career), or wanting to move out of the house. Then if she reacts negatively then I get terribly affected if is something that I wanted to do and I feel deeply in my heart.

Am I an insecure person because of this?

I was just wondering how other parents handle when their child turns 18 and still lives at home. Are all rules and restrictions dropped because the child is considered an adult. My son acts like he thinks he should just have the right to come and go as he pleases, and i just don't see it this way. He's says "I'm an adult now, why should i have to ask to go somewhere, or be home by a certain time"? I'm not sure how to answer this, except to say as long as you live under my roof you will do as i say. Could someone maybe going through this same situation offer some advice. Thank you in advance.

are there any great sites for finding missing relatives? I want to find my real mom, and by the state of Florida I am allowed to try and find her, but i can't afford to pay for it... and suggestions?

I have my reasons, and I want to find her... I always have... I was adopted at a late age (9) and I remember her from when I was younger... she fought to keep me, but because of her drug addiction, she lost the case... I really don't like my adoptive family, but thats a different subject. I am 19 years old, and I am ready to find her... I contacted my birth father and he is helping me get through college and finding more about my geneology (which is very interesting) and about my medical history. I want to find her, and I know its not going to be heartbreaking. I just don't have the money to do it. any suggestions? I know her name and roughly that she might still live in florida... but thats it.

My 2 little brothers (8 years old, and 11 years old) wants to play Nitendo DS whenever our parents are gone. I tell them that they already played game for 30 minutes so they can't play. And then they gets mad at me!! So I have to tell them "Ok, you guys can do it for only 5 minutes!" so now they are happy! I don't get them? Why do they wants to play game even though they are not done with there HW. My mom is keep telling my brother to stop going to this tutor place, because he doesn't do his HW, and gets a really bad grade. He ALWAYS say "I'm soory, I'll never play game when I'm not done with my work." And guess what? He's playing right now. I know that it's not my problem, but I had it enough. When I tell my mom that they played game, they gets mad at me!! It's also not fair for me. I want to play games too, but I just have too many HW! And while I'm doing my work, they play games right in front of me and said, " Too bad, you're too busy with your HW!" Can you please help me!!

During the nightime my dad drinks like 4 glasses of wine and is really weird and affectionate and he yells at me and my brother if we leave one scrap of anything on the ground. Then he'll cry if we yell at him. Once he got so mad he threw a scooter at my brother when he was 10! (We're now 13 and 16) He missed thank god But whenever i try and talk to him about it he denies he gets drunk and gets upset with us for accusing him of it and changed the subject and goes on drinking every night. I love him during the daytime but night time i hate him! What should i do?

Well you see I am a wide user of many types of drugs (nothing too hard such as heroin and what not) but I am a user of Marijuana and some other pharmaceutical pills. I still live with my parents and the other day I found a bottle of Xanax (.5 mg) bars and I've always been curious about Xanax. The bottle wasn't empty but only had about 18 bars left and I stole 5 of them... I'm scared my parents are going to find out about the missing tabs, maybe they won't, but if they do what's a good lie to tell them about how they are missing? They suspect that I do some drugs but they don't really mind it, my brother is 19 and always does pills (especially Xanax) and I would say maybe he took them, but he doesn't live here anymore and hardly ever visits.

and don't tell me I need help, because I have alot of self control and don't view my drug use as a problem at all.

We adopted child#5 recently from Guatemala. It was a long and difficult adoption. We finally got the baby home and have received NO CARDS OR EVEN A PHONE CALL from any family members. My family is out of the running - haven't spoken to them in 9 years. (abusive) But his family surprised us both by this. They generally did the same thing with our #4 child. (all other children have been biological) We have a cousin who is giving birth for the first time, who is having a big shower. I did not get a shower. I feel mad and upset about the lack of response from the family. We were orginally going to have a "adoption party" when he got home but now after 3 weeks of NO CARDS or even a phone call, I don't feel like it. I don't want to be the outcast of my own making but I also hate fakeness. Will have the party make it better?? They said they were waiting for a party to give us cards when we confronted our mother in law. Should you have to a party to get a card for having a baby?

We have permanant custody of my husband's 2 nephews. Their mother still gets visits 4 times a month. Two of the visits are overnight visits. She lets them play video games and watch movies that are inappropriate for their ages (7 and 9). It's hard to raise kids one way when another party is influencing them another way. Do we have the right to tell her that they can't watch these movies and play these games?

to be on my own. I no being on your own has many living expenses. I love my family but their just too dysfunctional and has way too much drama. They use me as a crutch and I'm always in the middle of a problem I have nothing 2 do with , and being a babysitter. I'm just tired of it.

Ok i kno ive asked alot involving my bf but im so hurt and confused right now and im so mad at both my dad and bf. for those who dont kno: im 17 and my bf is 20. i live wit jus me and my dad. my dad hates my bf because of fights we get into when my bf gets rough. and im not allowed to see him anymore....anyway i love my daddy and bf both alot. last night i went to my bfs house even though i wasnt allowed and talked wit my bf bout how im feeling and he basically said its him or my dad. im lik WHAT! so basically hes sayin i have to choose the love of my life or my daddy? then i come home this morning and my dad is waitin for me and starts questionin me and yellin and he was cryin and jus a whole big mess. im not used to this im used to bein daddys girl not fightin wit him. both of them wont listen and both of them dont seem to care bout wut i want...which is my bf and my dad jus gettin along. so wut do i do? i kno alot will say to stay wit my dad but u need to think of it from my view.

I'm SOO afraid.. The main thing is that I feel like I get stupid when it comes to driving. I've sat and studied the intersections and I've looked when people are driving and try and test myself what would I do and I usually end up saying ok NOW i would turn ..and then it ends up being the wrong time and for some reason i just cant figure it out .. plus i live in LA where traffic is horrible and pretty much every intersection operates a different way and people drive like **** and you can pretty much only turn left on yellow/ red light. .The last time I tried to drive was in a little suburb and Texas and even then i couldnt drive and would almost crash because i just cant pay attention the right way.. my eyes dont catch everything they need to. .for example ill be concentrating straight ahead for stoplights and ill miss the stoplight right in front of my face OR a car turning or changing lanes

I'm also afraid of accidents and my biggest fear is fire so I get REALLY scared
