My 2 little brothers (8 years old, and 11 years old) wants to play Nitendo DS whenever our parents are gone. I tell them that they already played game for 30 minutes so they can't play. And then they gets mad at me!! So I have to tell them "Ok, you guys can do it for only 5 minutes!" so now they are happy! I don't get them? Why do they wants to play game even though they are not done with there HW. My mom is keep telling my brother to stop going to this tutor place, because he doesn't do his HW, and gets a really bad grade. He ALWAYS say "I'm soory, I'll never play game when I'm not done with my work." And guess what? He's playing right now. I know that it's not my problem, but I had it enough. When I tell my mom that they played game, they gets mad at me!! It's also not fair for me. I want to play games too, but I just have too many HW! And while I'm doing my work, they play games right in front of me and said, " Too bad, you're too busy with your HW!" Can you please help me!!

If your old enough to babysit them .. your old enough to know how to disconnect the controllers and hide them from your little brothers. End of problem.
Make it a real good place.. like hide them inside a pillow case and put it in your laundry hamper. The back of a kitchen cupboard or in a covered dutch oven/soup pot in the back.
Get clever big sister you can do it! Also get a second set.. to hide somewhere else and never put it in the same place twice the 11 year old might be smarter than you think!

I have the same problem with my sons and what I do is when I dont want them to play it, I lock the game system in the trunk of my car, and when I go somewhere it goes with me so I KNOW they CANT play it.. Explain to your parents what happens when they leave and tell them to take the game system with them when they go. If they cant get to it they cant play it, can they? Even when they dont leave tell them to lock it in the truck or the car and hide the keys ( i have to lock my keys up to keep my kids from getting into the car)

if they have had 30 minutes already,their 30 minutes is up! you're not obligated to give them and extra 5 minutes which will turn into another 30 minutes eventually. if they are misbehaving and mistreating you, hide the games or unplug the tv so they have no access. you need to give them discipline :) i feel sorry for you cause you get blamed on everything and that happens to my friend too! good luck

DONT TELL ON YOUR BROTHERS IN FRONT OF THEM,
TELL ON THEM WHEN THEY ARENT AROUND.
ASK YOUR PARENTS TO REMOVE THE GAMES BEFORE THEY LEAVE SO THAT THE HOMEWORK GETS DONE AND ONCE YOUR BROTHERS HAVE SHOWN YOUR PARENTS THE HW THEN THEY CAN GET THE GAMES

take the games from them and hide them where they can't findthem and then make them do their hw
