Ring the Home Office and ask for the fax number of Prison Index. They will only accept requests for information in writing, but will accept a fax. They take about 48 hours to respond.
Having said that, if you send me a private message telling me whereabouts you think your brother appeared in court, I can probably tell you which prison he would have been sent to initially.

If you know where he was convicted, write to the Clerk of the Court asking for details or the Home Office Prisons Department.

I live in NY and i know that we have a department of corrections website. As long as you know the first and last name you will find them. It will show you all of the relevant information like his DIN, release date or parole board date, and what prison he is in. Good luck finding him, he'll probably appreciate the support.

The link below is a free prison search sight for finding inmates. If these don't work, contact the county or state where he is imprisoned and ask them.

it's a shame you brother didn't tell your family he was in trouble. You obviously want to support him, so ask at the court where his trail was held, or telephone the home office.

Check with your local police or a local criminal lawyer for any suggestions on locating him or you could hire a private detective who could access records not available to you that could help locate your brother. Good luck!
