He barely calls me, he barely txt's me, he wants to come down for a weekend to get to know me better, he keeps telling me to be careful about who I talk to on the net, and he worries about me. Are these signs that he is a stalker?

not a stalker, but a predator. how old are you? he's probably MUCH older, and only contacts you when his wife and kids aren't around. he doesn't want you talking to anybody else, b/c he wants to get to you first.

If he were a stalker, he would probably call and text you a lot more.
He doesn't sound like he worries about you much, though; or again, he'd call and text more.
It sounds to me more like he's bored or wants to get away from his life, and visiting you is his excuse.
I don't know at all whether he's a good person or a bad person, or what his intentions are.

No, but he doesn't sound right - whatever he is. I wouldn't trust him, and you should meet with him for the weekend at all. He's probably not really worried, just controlling. I'd tell your parents, if I were you.

If you told him you want no further contact with him then maybe. If he has gotten angry after you told him you wanted no more contact and made threats then yes.Otherwise maybe your just a little paranoid.Plan for him to meet you at your parents house with them there.

I would say he is very CONTROLLING and not a stalker (yet).
Stay away from him.

Trust your gut instinct.
