hi my name is izzy i am 12 years old.
Tyra Banks is my biggest role model she has been for 4 years.
every time I walk into the bathroom or look in mirror I know i was meant to be a supermodel. I try to practice poses and faces in my mirrior. I also do my catwalk when i am home alone. I try to give my mom the hint that i want to have professional pictures taken of me for like and agency. I REALLY WANT THIS!!!! My dad is just way to over protective he wont even let me wear shorts so i dont know about him, but i do know i want to be a supermodel!! I mean i just know it. every time i see a fashion show on tv i get butterflies. Sure i will probably be a plus size model. SO WHAT. All i know is that I will become one. But the question is how do I tell my mom. I mean I have told her i wanted to be alot of things volleyball player,dancer,singer,interior desginer and a actress. But i know i want to be a beautiful plus size model but hopw do i tell my parents.?????

Just tell them. Your parents will support you no matter what. They are just protecting you.

The best way to tell them is to show them. People know you're serious about a thing based on what you do.
You show them you want to be a model by getting ready to be a model. Even "plus size" models have to be in shape - nothing flabby. They exercise, too, and watch what they eat (eating a healthy diet), and get enough rest (the camera doesn't forgive bags under your eyes from staying up too late).
You study, because you have to be able to read any contracts you're asked to sign, and know if they're good ones. You have to be able to do math (otherwise you have to trust other people to take care of you and have no way to know if they're cheating you or not. Lots of performers, including models, get cheated because they don't understand their contracts, or can't make sense of their bank statements). As Tyra Banks has said more than once, to be a supermodel, you have to be a good businesswoman.
So you show your parents you really want this by getting ready for it - you exercise, study (not just schoolwork, although that's important, but also dance and drama, which help with moving gracefully and performing for the camera - you have to be able to perform for still photos and t.v.), and take good care of your health (because healthy people look better on camera, for one thing, and modeling takes a lot of physical stamina).
If you make a plan to get ready and you stick with it, at some point, your parents will see that you're serious about your dream, and have the persistence to make it come true. Good luck!

You need to accept your parents rule till you are 18.
That does not mean that you can not make plans for the future.
Your mind is your own.
No they are not the only parents in the world with those very same rules.

Just tell them and try to help them understand how much it means to you. Maybe if you tell them to help you atleast try to be a model and if it doesn't work out, that's okay. Atleast you will have tried and won't always wonder what would have happened if you didn't.

first you should know is that make sure that your goals are attainable, i know we all have our dreams, it not wrong to dream yet its very free. but if you have many dreams would it be possible for you to attain does dreams if your doing your other dreams also. what am trying to say is that if you want to achieve a certain dream you must work for it but, make sure what is on your top of your list to know w/c one you will be able to achieve very fast or the hard one w/c is on top of the list.

SIT THEM DOWN ONE DAY AND EXPLAIN WHY U WANT TO BE A MODEL THEN TELL THEM U WANT TO STICK TO THIS ONE CAUSE IT MAKES U HAPPY.AND THEN THE RENTS WILL UNDERSTAND .AND IF THEY DON;T STILL STICK WITH IT AND TRY YOUR HARDEST TO MAKE THEM UNDERSTAND.
PS .UNDERSTAND I WANT TO BE AN ACTREST WHEN I;M A LITTLE OLDER I TOLD MY RENTS AND THEY UNDERSTOOD BY THE WAY I;M 12 TOO.
