I love this girl and do not want to loose her, I just have trouble dealing with emotional outbursts. I try to be sensitive, but I come from an environment where problems are solved by communicating more straight forward. If I did something wrong, tell me. If I can fix the problem, I will, or at least compromise a little. This woman is not happy with an apology and an attempt to solve a problem, I must suffer as much or more than her (at least from my perspective), before she will be satisfied. I am so perplexed.

I've had a gf for almost 2 years now. I do not see myself being with a man again. I am now 22. My parents ask me all the time do I have a bf or who am I seeing. They know I am very school and career minded. I will be the 1st person in the family to graduate college. My question is if I do not get married by the time I'm in my 30's, have a bf, or have any kids will my parents think I'm a lesbian? I come from a very strict Christian family..my parents are super religious. It's impossible to tell them and I don't ever plan on it. My excuse if they ever ask me about a bf, husband, or having kids in the future would be bc I'm very ambitious and career minded and don't have time. Do you think that will work? What else can I tell them? I love my family and don't want to hurt them. I fear they will stop talking to me. My family is not like other families. I also want to be happy, but I will forever keep it a secret.

The last time I heard from my father I was around 13 years old. I am now 49 years old. I am the oldest of 4 girls. I am married and live almost 150 miles from where I grew up. My father abused my mother badly. He kicked her in the stomach when she was 9 months pregnant with my youngest sister. He tried to hang me from the rafters in our basement at age 9. My father left when I was 10. The last time I saw him is when I was 13 at the church I grew up. My aunt of my father's side sent flowers when my mother died in 1989. My 2 sisters and I are close. I wouldn't even know what he would look like. My family and I lived a normal happy life after the divorce. I would like to go on with my life and forget the horrible abuse. Why would someone contact his daughters after so long? I have forgiven him for the abuse. My second sister is in a abusive situation and we lost contact with her. She reunited with my father in the 1990's. Is there a reason why he is trying to contact us?

My husband is an illegal immigrant and he constantly tries to start an argument with me to start a fight. I am so sick of it anymore I want him to move out but he refuses. I would move but I am the who does all the responsibilites of owning a house, i write in the bills, call some one if i need to fix or make improvements to my house, take care of our child. he doesnt do none of that except for making me feel like his b***h. what are some good ideas. I think i know the answer why he won't go, but please tell me what you think about why he won't move and stop all the arguing with me.

Hes two years older than me and he resently started in the company and for these past months i think i have developed feeling for him and its practically killing me inside that i cant say anything to him! Besides that i think he might like me too, i feel like he is sending me mixed messages. I heard he has a girlfriend but he has never mentioned it to me. For example: There is this red bracelet (string) thing that he is always wearing and one of my friends said that she asked him what it was and he told her and everybody around that his girlfriends aunt gave it to him. This was a few weeks ago, but today out of curiosity i asked him what it was (there was no one around but the both of us) and he said that it was a good luck charm that one of his friends aunt gave to him. He didnt say girlfriend, he said friend. Anyways its really driving me crazy because i feel like he acts different towards me that with everybody else. I dont know what to do because... well he's my boss!!!

When I met my husband I had a close friend but our relationship was never more than buddies. I haven't seen him in a couple of years. However from mutual friends I hear he asks about me all the time. Everyone seems to notice our chemistry and my husband is silently jealous of him. We have never been physical and I have told my husband this. He does not like my husband and for good reason ( my husband is a drug addict ). My husband is in rehab now but I can't help having this feeling of too little too late. My husband was a social drinker and occasionally used drugs usually at parties or things not very often. For th past 5 years it has gradually gotten worse and the last year or so it has gotten insane. I cant count how many times I've gone through the I quite ordeal with him but he finally went to rehab but hes not out yet. I think I married the wrong man. I didnt give my old friend enough time to start a romance or was it just never meant to be, why can't I stop thinking about him

OK...I GOT THIS GURL SOMETHING FOR CHRISTMAS...we haev bee talking for a while..adn i seen this in the store and right away she popped in my mind so i had to get it for her...
i havent seen her and havent had the chance to give her the gift...and when i call her AUNTS house she is always out with ehr cusin....

Here is the thing.I have this co-worker and from the first time i met him,he left a good impression for me.Every now and then he started to tell me that he loves me and i was like "don't say things that you don't mean."Because im not even sure if he means that or not.Everytime we see each other in our work place,he will always say that he likes me and ask me stuff about having a relationship with him. But then,i am not sure if he is being serious about me or he was just killing his time.Now,i kinda like want to go out with him but i am having second thoughts because first of all,i don't know a thing about him.And im the type of person that is not gonna open up a conversation to get to know other person.Now,he is the only thing in my mind,all day.He shows that he cares about me and everything like that,he says sweet stuff that can really make a person's heart melt, but i just couldn't tell if he is serious or not.What should i do?I dont wanna confess first or do the first move.

This guy is in total control of finances, transportation, etc. and will get drunk every other night, name call, give orders, and be a general jerk towards his wife. He wakes up the next day and apologizes, like nothing happened. If she attempts to discuss these issues with him he will turn everything around on her, like she is being controlling. Their marriage councelor told them that he will have to allow transportation and (at least!) discuss financial matters in order for their relationship to move forward. He still hasn't done anything the shrink told him to do. So how do you effectively communicate with an abusive jerk?

my parents are divorcied and my dad said that daturday i could hang out at his place a couple of days ago then yesterday i was at my dad's place cause my mom was going out and i asked if saturday was okay to hang out and he said it was okay then today my dad said that he might invite a girl over but expalined her as a friend so i said that was fine and told my mom now she said to me that i can't go even thought i said to my dad that having the girl over was fine now i can't go. Why is my mom doing this i said it was fine but my mom says that my dad should have left the day to me rather than with someone else.

He works at home, so he has been doing this for over a decade - watching porn that is. So now, we don't have any kind of a sex life, because he is used to watching porn. I've tried talking to him but he gets fed up and just says I should watch porn. As well, he says I should dress up for him - that this would help our sex life. I don't mind porn, but to 'need' porn to have a sex life is sad. He also has never come the few times we have had sex - during 8 months. I don't know how common this is, or if this situation will get better? Does anyone else have any experience with this? As well, he says he'd like me to be a 'porn ****' for him. This is so foreign to me, (and he knows it), I'm not a prude, but have no interest in a second career. Any insight would be appreciated.

I've been attempting to orgasim for quite sometime. I am straight but i met this girl on January 4th, 2007. We became Best Friends and though we went through some rough patches we got through them. Over the year I have begun to think of her as more than a friend though.
The feelings I have for her are different than what I have had for anybody else I have ever known. I would do anything for her. I love her with everything i have, but not sexually. I dont think of her as "hot". I mean I think she is really pretty but Ive never even thought about kissing her or anything like that. All I have ever wanted to do was protect her and give her the world.
I was talking to her boyfriend about this (I know right? Hes such a cool guy!) and his opinion was I DO love her...but the reason Im questioning my sexuality (Straight, gay, or bi) is because thats the only word I have for it. We are in our early 20s and every time his high school friend comes back into town from the university, he starts huge fights and goes and stays with him. He is always blowing me off for my friends. I have packed up his stuff and told him I will bring it to the security at his work. He does not want me to. Question is: I am a Christian person and don't believe in divorce.
