We are going to my friend's house first so i still get to see my friends but we're going to his friends after...
But...
I don't know them very well i've only met them a couple of times and I feel i can't really be involved in the conversation they spend a lot of the time talking about high school etc (we're all around 21-23 yrs old btw)...
Any advice for how I could not make it look like i'm bored?
It's just that my boyfriend and I want to be together at midnight because it's special and all!!

So there's a guy who I was dating for 3 months and he said that he actually wasn't looking for a girlfriend. It hurt me. I can't forget. After a month I texted him, I still like him and he replied he did too, but he just didn't want a relationship. I said I can't handle that..He asked what he should do then. Nad I replied what would you like? And he said: Don't be bold, I'd like to stay friends but I'd want to take your clothes off all the time, so that wouldn't work...What should I think about him?

A gentleman? What a load of crap.

A relationship is suppose to make life easier for both people financially by helping share the costs of life.

So why do so many of you women keep bringing back chivalry? We're equal! You have equal rights as we do. You pay also! I'm under the impression that many girls go into relationships just for the money. You work, I work! Stop depending on us!

I've just turned 20 and talk to a girl on msn and on the phone. I know it sounds sad but i really like speaking to her. We have been talking a while now and can still speak hours and not be bored or anything. Recently though i've been feeling like, if she was to go with a guy from down there or if i went with a girl from here, it may create a certain amount of hurt feelings. I know i dont have a right to feel like that but i do. Instead of just sitting feeling like that i thought that mabye we should speak about it. Sometimes i feel really close to her then other times not so close. I also asked "Say we met in....., would you want to be more than friends or what?". She said that she would. If i do and she does, i think thats something worth discussing also. She is shy on the phone and i feel like i'm being a stalker or something. Do you think i should ask things like this or just leave it?

I have a "friend" and I don't really like her. She annoys the crap out of me. She always calls me and ALWAYS wants to hang out. She thinks we are pretty good friends, but she dosen't even know me becasue I can't really be myself around her cause she is super sensitive. She gets offended easily but treats others badly and thinks it's ok. She trys to be the center of attention way too often.
I would totally dismiss her but our husbands are really good friends.
Any advice?

Is it better to be alone and therefore avoid being eventually disappointed by people or is it better to start yet another relationship with someone (romantic or otherwise) and run the risk of being disappointed for the billionth time?

I can't decide.

I asked my ex to get back together with me. He dumped me and feels I haven't fixed myself that quickly. I was insecure and played emotional games with him. I realize this all comes from trust issues and low self-esteem. I feel that I am getting better and he told me to keep working on it. He has a new girlfriend and claims to be happy. I told him I am happy for him and that I wished him well. But actually, I feel miserable. What should I do?

for the reason that my husband refuses to get a job and support his children? Will a judge let me take my kids out of state where cost of living is less and my parents are near so that I can support them on my own? I am currently living in NY state.

I was just told this story by a friend of mine. She started going out with this new guy. They were at his home on a date, watching a movie, and she was going to sleep over. Like around midnight or so, his ex calls him, because she claims she is stranded and has no way of getting home, or where to go for the night. She claims she fell asleep in the library and woke up after all the public transportation has closed. She claims she has no money for a cab to get home. So the guy feels bad and wants to help, basically ends the date with his new girlfriend, and goes and picks his ex up at the location where she is "stranded". The girlfriend got really mad a him because that is disrespect for him to be breaking up their date to go and rescue someone who is no longer in his life. So, she gave him the ultimatum that if he dont take her with him to go and pick up this girl, she was going to leave him. So they went and picked up the ex, and he gave her money for a hotel. Is this guy an idiot?

My fiancee and I are planning on getting married in May this year in the Philippines. However, I have been told that it is better to get her to the States before we get married. What would be better in your mind; getting married there or here in the USA? Any advice would be great...

A woman at work who I was good friends with has recently just completely switched off and now ignores me... how can someone do that?

Background... she had an abusive husband who she left at the end of 2006, she came back to work and she and I were already friends but she became my close friend, with her relying alot on my strength and support, which was fine and we were, I thought, good close friends - best friends in my view as she shared her life with me and I with her... anyway, she moved over to a new office in November, and I went over to the same office a couple of weeks later, and all of a sudden now she behaves as if she doesn't know me; ignores me, doesn't say hello, doesn't want to have lunch with me anymore.

I have agonized over what I might have done, but there is nothing. It hurts me as she was someone who I cared about and would have walked on coals to make her smile and now, she just ignores me. Am I right to resent her? I've asked what's wrong but she says "nothing".

Growing up I endured abuse as a child and lived in a stressful family environment. As a teen, I suffered severe depression and had many incidences where I did wild things and even once seriously attempted suicide. Medical statistics say that people with that background have more difficulty finding stable romantic relationships.

I'm extremely fortunate and have been with someone for 3 years, he loves me dearly, wants to marry me, and all my friends say that he's just a dream man, with a good job, family values, he's even gorgeous to top it off. Thing is...I haven't really had trouble finding men to stay with me. I'm not trying to sound stuck up, I admit that I'm moody, get depressed easily, and even have emotional flareups commonly. But I am extremely affectionate and try to make it up after calming down.

Anyways, long question short, I feel like of all people I'd have the most trouble keeping someone, so what exactly is it that keeps a man in a relationship?

When when their boyfriend/husband watches porn that it's cheating? Even if they want to watch it as a couple some woman become insecure and angry. Why is this? I'm not talking about porn addictions either. I'm refering to oocasional porn watching in a normal relationship.
I watch porn and my husband watches porn too. Nothing in excess either. It spices up our relationship and i dont feel insecure about him watching the woman on the TV, its just a fricking movie. I dont understand, is it low self esteem or something? I dont compare myself to those woman, and my husband knows this. Its just visual stimulation for us.

My sister and her partner are not married. Precisely what does this mean and are there any legal barriers to not having their parents married when the children grow up. What are the social implications in some social circles. Thanks
