I believe that to be a major reason for going in to certain fields. That is definitely a good reason why I went into social work. You find areas that you have experienced and overcome. That way you can help and empower others who face similar problems.

it might be possible but that doesnt mean that we hit the target. Several reasons must also be considered . Physcology course deals with reasonings and mental abilities. If you took studies related to this, it will be a great help to yourself and this will even help you to be a guidance counselor to people who need counseling in their life.

I would say definitely. When you grow up in a dysfunctional family, there is something about trying to help others solve their problems. It make complete sense.

Yes, because it's one way of helping you to understand what problem you had. Also, you probably do it because of the emotional needs to help others as well.
