We are going to my friend's house first so i still get to see my friends but we're going to his friends after...
But...
I don't know them very well i've only met them a couple of times and I feel i can't really be involved in the conversation they spend a lot of the time talking about high school etc (we're all around 21-23 yrs old btw)...
Any advice for how I could not make it look like i'm bored?
It's just that my boyfriend and I want to be together at midnight because it's special and all!!

Whatever you do don't get drunk. hee hee. Buy a new outfit, get your hair done and look a millions dollars. When you've got something new on, your confidence will amaze you. You don't have to pretend to be interested. Someone will see that you don't know a lot of people and strike up a conversation with you. You'll be fine. It's really good that he's going with you to your friends place first too. Just smile a lot and remember you're only there because you want to be with your boyfriend, so enjoy it. Take a camera and walk the room taking pics and send them to everyone. It will help you get in the click.

Bring up other more interesting topics. Tell them that high school is over, and it is time to move on to world events, sports, travel, money management, future plans, etc... Have a few topics prepared. If they are still talking about high school, they don't have much of a life now!!!

Change the topic I would think. If not stay involved with your boyfriend who should be paying attention to you anyway.
