I have a few questions about this 'subject'. I don't want to say, recently found out I was attracted to both sexes because I've known of this for about two years now. I'm told my two best friends, and they're cool with it. And I tired to tell my mom but she almost freaked when I asked her what she thought of gays.

Basically, I want to know how young is too young to come out to your parents and family? (I'm fourteen btw)

Also...how should I bring up the general subject in order to tell my mom?

I got married to him when in univewrsity. at first things were going well but now he use to have affairs with other women and even bring them to the room we share. We have a son too and it is really maddening when I find out. for times i have tried to leave him but it is really hard becoz he threatrens and abuses me. he even threatens my family if I leave Him. Agaist all odds he wants me to stay on with him. if I do the slightest mistake he will bash me up to the point of killing me. When I say mistakes I mean doing laundry, washing clothes and stuff like that. when I try to go on a strike after he hits me , he will continue hitting me so badly. I really, really hate him but if I run away from him he will hunt me down. what do I do? I need advice on whats best for me to do that will change him or get rid of him from my life. I am really confused if he is the one for me.

I need to change who I am or my marriage won't last through the Holiday. I can't help but become a total ***** when the Hubby tells me NO. I start the fights over it, it's all my fault and It happens on a regular basis. I have two kids one with him and my oldest by another. I can't live like this. I don't have the heart to leave him because I love him and want to be with him.
Any tips? Do I need medication? How can I be happy?

We've been together 4 yrs and engaged two of those years. Why would he get engaged if he wasn't happy? He bought a house next door soon after we got engaged and rented it out to a family he knows. They are heavy partyers and drinkers and he started hanging out there all the time. he doesn't want to do anything but stay there for over a yr. He doesn't do anything around HIS house. I asked why. He said it's because he doesn't care about this house anymore. I then asked why he is always next door. He said it's because he's done and hasn't been happy with me since we've been together. I am very hurt and have alot of questions. Like why did he get engaged in the first place? Also, things got bad when THEY moved in next door. I asked him to go to couseling. He said no. He's done and I don't get that it's over and couseling won't help because there is nothing there anymore and he doesn't want to talk. He then left to go next door and then came home soon after. Why did we get enaged then?

Well you see, here is my story. I am a sophomore in high school.
Here is the thing. I am not exactly popular by any means, but by no means am I a loser. So that kinda leaves me in a weird situation, especially with girls. There are girls that I would like to be friends with in my school, but our paths don't exactly mix. Many of them go to parties that I am not invited to. So it's kinda hard to get to know them or talk to them. And in school since I am not as popular as them it's hard to talk to them. So what do I do here? I mean I really have no clue what to do. I don't see myself becoming popular, as that stuff is already set in stone. So any tips or advice or anything would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for taking the time to read this post.

my boyfriend and i haven't seen each other much this past semester. he was just here for the weekend and we hadn't seen each other for two weeks prior to it. he's 22 and i feel this constitutes him as being an adult, though he still lives at home (when not at college). what bothers me is HOW MUCH his parents call him when they know he is with me. they know we dont see each other much, but yet this weekend i think one member of his immediate family called every hour, for completely random reasons. it was really annoying because i just wanted to have SOME time with him uninterrupted.

so am i overreacting by getting so upset? i just feel that his family needs to start viewing him as an adult and just learn to let go (especially when he has younger siblings) and let him spend quality time with me. please help, i'm going insane!

My boyfriend and I have been together for 6 years now. I am 21 and he is 22. I am graduating from college next year and he works full time and also goes to school. We live together and have been for the past 2 years. Today I was talking to my sister, who recently got married at the age of 30, and she said that we (my boyfriend and I) are too young to get married. I disagree and we actually got into a huge argument over it (She said that 'people change' and that 'who knows if you guys will be together in the future' and 'your idea of marriage is totally off' and 'the reason you get married is to have children and you don't want children soon so why get married?' etc). So, I was just wondering how everyone else feels? (so, think of it like this- if you were invited to a couple's wedding who were 21 and 22 would you think that it was 'wrong' or 'stupid' of them to get married 'so young'?)

My husband is acting real weird, he is out of town working, last night I hung up on him cause all he was doing was B**ching, and he still hasn't emailed me or called me back. Our dog chewed up a paint tube on his new rug. I washed it best I could, it's barely noticable, but he caled me white trash and said I couldn't take care of anything. Which by the way, my 16 yr old is a 4.8 GPA 10th grader, mu 10 yr old is doing quit good and my 20 month old is above and beyond in his age group. Plus I do everything at home and work a 40 hour + job every week.

We have only been together 2 months and have been to his house a few times. I was invited to his family's Christmas and he said his mom got me something.

Should I bring her a gift also or something for the family?
and what? The extended family will be there also.

Is the ritual religious or secular needed in order for commitment to exist? Why do you think so? Is it a legal or a sky monster (god) thing?

Personally, I was raised in a Christian home, but rejected the religion when the higher reasoning skills of my adulthood kicked in. I also find law to be entirely arbitrary and while both law and religion have laid an interesting guideline out for life, neither are something to live by entirely. The marriage ritual has little meaning to me. The only argument I ever heard that made any sense was one that involved peer pressure and the need to make a commitment public, but again, I'm a tad antisocial, as in I make my own rules, and would love a reasonable answer.

I am getting married though because I can sacrifice a single day for my family's happiness. I don't see how it makes a commitment though, that's already made! Do tell if you can.

Long story short - I'm 31 she is 17. We work in close quarters together and it has become clear she has feelings for me, most likely a normal teenage crush. To make things more difficult, she appears exceptionally, emotionally mature and is quite lovely in appearance.

I know what I should do, but as time goes on she is getting increasingly more flirty/touchy-feely and I am growing increasingly less reasonable.

1) I don't know if a relationship would be "legal."
2) This is the last thing someone of that age would need, messing up the natural best years of her life.
3) I don't want to be "That Guy", you know the one I mean.

I really like this girl and don't want her to get hurt. I need advice.
