so my girls birthday is coming up and i cant think of any thing to get her. she has done alot for me since we got together(e.g. get me a job, gave me a suprise birthday party,etc.) so i want to get her something special. im thinkin of things but i dont know what to get. she means a lot to me we been through alot so i want to get her that certain something that expresses my feelings. it doesnt have to be a gift it could be a act whatever as long as i get that reaction that makes her melt. thanks for your help.

make a long story short we been 2gether for a year and 3 months.she has my name tatooed on her back.She lives with me in ny.She had a hard life,mom died when she was young and her father was abusive.She has a godmother that she considers her mother and fam.The house is over crowded.Here's the list of people who live there,godmothr,3 sisters age 20,18 and 15 all got kids.one of the sister's babyfather lives there,a recovering crackhead who is the mother cousin
they live in nj.
she once stayed there for 2 weeks cuz we broke up and they was just using her 2 babysit,send her to the store every 10 mins and clean up the whole house everyday.even 1 of her sisters said that she was being treated like a slave.Its like my girl dont see it,she's blind as a bat.I told her it would be better if she got cool with her father side of the fam.her mom fam is messed up(long story) but her and her father talk sumtime..She said if she lose her godmother fam then she wont have anybody.What should I do

Two years ago my husbands ex-wife sent my him papers stating that she was ammending their divorce papers for supervised visitation only. She did this two months after our child was born, I assume because she was mad because she thought we would lower her child support.
The allegations for the supervised visitation were that he was not taking his anti-psychotic medication and that he did illegal drugs and drank alcohol. Me, not ever having been involved in this sort of thing thought that if we just showed the judge the actual medicine labels printed from the pharmacy to show that the drugs that he took were not anti-psychotic but actually sleeping pills (along with his medical records) and agreed to a hair drug test that this would prove all her allegations to be untrue and all would be good...boy was I wrong. We were pretty much treated like the most dysfunctional family in the history of time.
My husband feeling defeated (and we not really having the extra money for an attorney)

About 2 months ago, my mom left me in the car for awhile so she could use the ATM. I was bored or something, and I don't know why, but I checked her phone's inbox. There was a ton of messages, like "your breasts were delicious" and things like that. That kept bothering me. This week, she kept texting while she was watching tv. Yesterday, I grabbed her cell phone when she wasn't in her room and I checked her inbox. There were even more messages from the same number. They all said stuff like "sex with you is very good" or "I'm hard as a rock" and it mentioned having sex with two other people I think are from my mom's job. Her outbox had lots of texts like "was it good".
I told my older brother because we get along really well. I'm 13 and he's 18. My parents would always talk about divorce & I always wondered why they never did. But 18 yrs, 4 kids later (1 autistic), and after kinda abusing us, my mom has to do this.

It's the holidays so my bro & I don't know what to say, or when.

Me and my husband have been married for 7 months now and iam to the point where iam done with all of the b.s. Let me start from the begining, We got married everything was fine up untill i had my daughter then he completely changed. I'm a bridesmaid in the wedding of one of my childhood friends and am having a major dress dispute. I'm a large girl (size 18-20) and am extremely uncomfortable about being sleeveless in the wedding, even with the shawl my friend suggested. I had asked if I could have something similar made but would cover more, which was majorly pulling teeth. I was talked into agreeing to suck it up and do the shawl for at least the main church parts and then put something over it, but then she pretty much decided she didn't want the shawl either and a big blow-up ensued where she essentially asked me to step down and be a reader instead. I'm insulted that she'd rather change the person in the dress than grant one minor addition to the dress for the person, especially knowing how self-conscious I am. I'm at a total loss of what to do now. I agreed to the original strapless with shawl, and now I'm being called the bad guy for being upset that the shawl's being taken away. I don't know what to do.

Recently, just today anyway, I watched my favorite episode of Barney again from when I was little. I really liked it. The first song was the "I'm Bringing Home A Baby Bumblebee" song with one of the kids in a bumblebee costume.

Now, most likely to girls (I think anyways), if, when you were younger, you could have worn a bumblebee costume and been the bumblebe and performed the song "I'm Bringing Home A Baby Bumblebee" with a group of kids, would you?

You would have won at the end and stung the kids twice by the way. This is what happened in the Barney episode.

Also, how do you think the writers came up with that idea for the Barney episode?
