My husband told me he wants me gone when he returns from Iraq. Active army soldier is he.

I have 1 small child and we have been together for 7 years.
Any ladies find themselves in similiar scenario?
And what did the judge award you?

Im trying to see if I might be stuck on my own with my child.
Or if he will be forced totake care of me and our child while I go back to school.

I am sorry for your stressed situation.
The best is to find a good attorney to look for your best interest. A good attorney can get you more than a fair share of the community assets.
Sure your child is entitled to child support but in most states if your marriage is less than 10 years, you do not get alimony support.
You have a very good decision to go to school to have a carrier for your future. Way to go girl!

i was happy to just get away from him. i didn't get anything out of this divorce except for furniture or which I PAYED. also he didn't pay child support for a year. as u see i managed to survive with 3 children , i was the happiest woman even without money and i found that perfect man after. material posessions are not everything in the world

I am sorry for your situation...he is the father and will have to support his child.....do you all own or rent ....if you own in some states he could have to provide a home for the child which means you could live in the house until the child is 18...to support you to go to school? were you in school before? I am not sure on that...but if you need job skills probably so....
