My daughter has a piano exam on Wednesday. I am a FRSM standard pianist and am a music teacher, but she doesn't have lessons from me because I'm her mum and she probably won't listen.

She's getting all teary now because she thinks she can't play well enough. Her teacher goes away tonight. What should I do? Should I take her through the pieces myself?

I was supposed to get a car when I was 16. They basically promised to me that I would get my dads car cause he was getting a new one. When I turned 16 they sold it.
I got 2 jobs at 17 over the summer and ever since then I had to pay my parents $50 every month. (rent?) I started paying for stuff myself, like for school and stuff. I had a savings account and by the end of the summer I had about $1000. I lost one of my jobs because my mom wouldnt want to take me to work. I t was like 5 minutes away! ( the other job was seasonal) My parents wouldnt let me get a job during the school year b/c they said school was more important. I was still paying the $50. My money slowly slipped away over the schoolyear. In march of my senior year, I finally reached a breaking point of all the stress about money and gettng a car. My sister found my "diaries" in my room and decided to read them. She actually had to find them because I KNOW i hid them. Some of the pages were about me being depressed and

I just got engaged this weekend, I'm sooo excited, and my fiance and I were talking about who we wanted to include in the wedding. He has 2 best friends from different times in his life who he is very close with, and I have 1 sister, who I always said would be my maid of honor, and 1 very close best friend who is like a sister to me. So, we were thinking about having them share the roles and we have 2 best men and 2 maids of honor.

I know it's our wedding and we can do anything we want, but I just wondered if anyone else has done this before or had a similar situation with close people in your life. How did you handle it?

Serious answers only please. Thanks

In the beginning of a relationship most people wanna be the best partner or spouse they can, for their partner or spouse (people claim). But now a day's it seem's that when that moment in the relationship has pasted. All bet's are off now!!

Every man or women for themselves! Why is it that people bring their worst out in relationships? Lying, CHEATING whatever. People go in with good intentions and characters I guess. If they even really had any. But then turn out to be frauds!!!

What the hell is up with this? Why is it that the fraud comes out in people when in relationships?

he has a lawyer to represent him, he works under the table, just got remarried for the second time. I work 32 hrs per week and am CP. He has not paid support in over 4 months, claims he doesnt have it ~ but he can afford a lawyer for $215/hr and to pay for part of his wedding. He did have back surgery in August and wants to use a medical excuse for not being able to work to pay support. Court is asking for 2 yrs of tax returns. I am concerned about the outcome. This support helps greatly when its received, what will I have to prove in court? Thank you for your input here!! (FYI, we never married, relationship ended in domestic abuse)

Everyone has someone in their life who "got away" and when you see them now you are like "what was I thinking"!

When I was in Kindergarten - 3rd grade there was a neighbor girl of mine who I would hang out with all the time. We did everything together. She was my first kiss and we hung out almost daily. THEN after 3rd grade we had to move and that was the last I saw of her. A couple years ago I remembered her name and found her online and OMG! She is now the most beautiful, sexy girl I have ever seen. She plays college basketball and is just amazing. I sent her a letter and she remembered me and we talked a little online but thats it. I didnt expect anything to come from it but whenever I see her photos I wonder what it would be like if I would have stayed their and what would have become of us. It sends chills down my spine because things would be so different, yet could possibly be so good.
Any stories like that?

This question is complicated, I just want honest advice. I have written earlier about me - I dated a girl for 3 1/2 years, things were great, we were in love, even though I only wanted to be with her and nobody else, I chickened out and could never get myself to get married. She took a job on the West Coast, and while I thought we were in a "lets try to make this work long distance thing," she met some other guy and got married 5 months later. They have been married now for 1 year and she called/emailed recently and told me she is not completely happy, that she made a mistake, got desperate and just wanted to be a wife, that she never thought I would want to get married. I told her to divorce then, and she only says that she doesnt know if she can "risk it," as there is no guarantee between us. I really love her, and am so depressed that this happened, it sickens me. Well, our anniversary was Dec. 12, should I even email her and say anything or just do nothing?

My husband and I have been married for 4 years. I was scanning through his cell phone one night looking for a number when I came across an 800 number. Of course I dialed it, I was curious. It then gave me a local number to call. This was no sex line it was a hook up line for singles!! I then scanned through his phone and I found the local number, he had dialed it. Well after this I was curious, so I browsed through his wallet, and lo and behold there was a condom hidden in one of the pockets!! We dont use condoms, and havent used condoms since we first got together. The very next day he came home late from work. He said he had to work over, (wich he never does). He then tells me that him and "the guys" at work are going to start going out every Friday night to eat at a local resturant.
Am I a fool to believe this, or is this his way of getting out to see a secret someone?!?
?Clueless?

Just wondering. I saw him kissing another woman at a parking lot near my house. My co-worker thought he was away on business. He never saw me. The other woman I don't know. I don't like my co-worker much and it would give me a kind of evil pleasure to tell her about her cheating husband. She has two kids under five and I don't think they are rich or even comfortable financially. I think it is really sad.
She is such a pain though that I almost can understand the husband's actions. Well, not really, but for a moment I felt almost sympathy for him. I think I should say nothing. Let them work out their own problems.

I am debating whether I should take my kids fathers to court for support. I am feeling like I am doing something wrong by eventhinking about it. Well I let the two of them know what my plans were and they both are angry with me. I have been carrying pretty much all the weight for a number of years now. I am drained and I feel as though I shouldn't have to work two jobs to take care of half of their resposnibility. I just think they are upset because they will now be held accountable and have to be consistent. Buying a birthday gift or christmas gift just isn't cutting it anymore. Do they have a right to have an attitude? Is it wrong for me to hold them accountable?

I purchased my dress from David's Bridal about 3 wks ago and they told me it will be in around 2/11/08 but it came in on 12/4/07, so I picked it up yesterday and it is gorgeous and perfect. I was told to make an appointment to see if I need any alterations but it seems all I will need is a little bit of a hem done to the dress once I have my shoes on. I know I have heard most of you on here with the horror stories with David's Bridal but my experience was a good one, so far.
My question today is does anyone know about David Bridals alterations and what were you experiences with alterations?

friends with him. His wiccan nephew has done a couple spells on me and I have almost been in a car accident or I woke up one morning feeling sick to my stomach. I am familiar with wicca because I have worked with wiccans and I know what they can do. It runs rampant here in Minnesota and Wisconsin. I don't know what to do. What do I say to my husband to keep him yet lose his nephew before anything else happens to me. What will happen ?

It's my crazy ex-friend update. So this is her shower story...
Make a long story short for everyone who hasn't been following this... Got married 1 in Vegas- having giant church wedding in white gown 6 months later (redo) . Demanding shower, demanding bacholourette party... Demanding lavish gifts and lots of attention. I kicked her out of my wedding because she was trying to ruin it and make herself center of attention. I am getting this information from a mutual friend who is still in her wedding.

She wanted to invite every female on the planet to her shower so it was like 60 people so they decided to throw two showers- and this is shower 1. The other shower is this following week.

1. They didn't make people RSVP - 10 showed.
2. NO Food- only cheese and crackers and a vegetable tray.
3. 10 people so they couldn’t play bingo or any games because it didn’t work.
4. Took 10 mins to open the gifts. (Most people bought her small things since she is already married)
