Everyone has someone in their life who "got away" and when you see them now you are like "what was I thinking"!

When I was in Kindergarten - 3rd grade there was a neighbor girl of mine who I would hang out with all the time. We did everything together. She was my first kiss and we hung out almost daily. THEN after 3rd grade we had to move and that was the last I saw of her. A couple years ago I remembered her name and found her online and OMG! She is now the most beautiful, sexy girl I have ever seen. She plays college basketball and is just amazing. I sent her a letter and she remembered me and we talked a little online but thats it. I didnt expect anything to come from it but whenever I see her photos I wonder what it would be like if I would have stayed their and what would have become of us. It sends chills down my spine because things would be so different, yet could possibly be so good.
Any stories like that?

I am getting responses like "well get back with her, dont let her get away now" I better add this.
I was in 3rd grade then, now I am 23, she is 22. We have talked 2-3 times since I left and she would think I am weird for trying to talk with her again. She lives 3-4 hours away anyway. Im not saying I want to get with her now, I am just saying I sometimes wonder what it would be like if I hadn't of moved.

Why don't you act on your feelings? This girl may have gotten away years ago but there is no reason why she can't be gotten now. Don't miss this chance and always wonder.

I hope you and that girl get back together and when yall do you treat her good! Good LUCK!!

QUIT TALKING TO US AND GET A HOLD OF HER BEFORE SHE REALLY DOES GET AWAY ONCE AND FOR ALL.
YOU WILL NEVER KNOW UNTIL YOU ARE TOLD BY HER THAT THERE IS NOTHING THERE.
ANYTHING ELSE YOU WILL ALWAYS WONDER.
IN 968 MY G/F OF 3 YEARS MARRIED ANOTHER DURING VIETNAM. I CAME HOME AND WAS WANTING TO GET MARRIED AND SHE WAS GONE. I MOVED ON AND WE KEEP IN TOUCH. I DO NOT WANT A RELATIONSHIP OTHER THEN FRIEND. BUT SHE HAS ASKED WHAT WOULD HAVE BEEN AND I SAY I GUESS WE WILL NEVER KNOW? HER HUSBAND DIED 5 YEARS AGO AND SHE STILL KEEPS IN TOUCH, BUT I HAVE MY LOVE AND WILL NOT COMPROMISE MY SELF.

Unfortunately many of my old acquaintances that I run into have deteriorated physically. However, that does not mean that they are not worth being bothered with. Some have remained intelligent, vibrant, funny, and interesting. So do not count them out just be cause they are no longer young, pretty, and agile.
