I have filed divorce once, but was dismissed because i couldnt serve her. she is ordered to pay child support also. i have refiled divorce but have to serve her yet. can she file in oregon or does the divorce have to go through the state our children reside(wisconsin)?

Im from Russia and i have say that ppl in America look pretty bad, alot of Americans tell me I dress great and i have good sense of style. For example girls in Europe look way better then in America ? why is that ? There is not to many American white girls that have great sense of style and if they do have great sense of style they end up beaing a really mean person, or just way to prepy. Her is an another example sometimes in town i see some person driving a really nice Lexus and dressed like cra. Why don't Americans teens and adults have a great sense of style just like European ?

I am a mother of four beautiful daughters. I divorced their father two years ago and we have no formal visitaion in place. Our girls are 17,15,12 and 7. They all long to spend time with their father and are visibly upset because he never seems to follow through with his planned visits and is always disappointing them. They see he has time for his girl friends children but not for them and it hurts meto see them hurt, every time he lets them down.
My 7 year old wrote her father a letter that brought tears to my eyes. She said, Daddy, I miss you and love you? Do you miss and love me to? Are you ok, daddy? Do you need help? Call me, here is our number (XXX) XXX-XXXX. Daddy remeber you promised to take me to mc donalds? Can you still take me? I love you daddy and miss you. Please come over. In the past I have gone out of my way to inform him of our dauughters sucesses and other issues related to them but now I realize It was a waiste of energy on my part. What would you do?

I have a very alternative view of marriage, and things in general, and buying a ring, especially with an expensive shiny rock on it, feels really foreign and stupid to me. I hate this world.
parents seem to find some way to take up teenager's time for everything. I go to school Mon-Fri for 8 hours a day, and now i have to go to sunday school. Plus I just got my Wii and only got to play once yesterday. Now my sister and my brother think it's theirs, so they play it more than i do (i don't mind them playing, but what about me?) it's so gay. who agrees with me?

My husband has a very short temper and shouts at me a lot. Many times in public.
For example, we might be walking down the street and I'll say something to argue with him or tell him he's wrong about something, and he'll start to shout, then he'll push the stroller (with our little girl in it) forward in rage, and storm off, leaving me by myself and the stroller.
I'm so embarassed, especially if there are other people around.

And about 10 minutes ago, he got mad at me because I was cooking and left the window open so that the smell goes away. He says it's too cold outside and he's freezing to death, and started yelling at me.
I got mad and didnt say anything to him except for a dirty look.
Then he says, "I've had it! I'm out of here". He got dressed and stormed off outside.

What should I do?

Yesterday my feonce's mother was baby sitting my little sister and she gave my little sister a big huge smack on the butt with a belt, because she was climbing a tree, and my sister is only 7!!!!!! My sister started to scream and took the belt and smacked the my feonce's mother in the butt so she (the mother) would get out of the house and so she left the house and then my little sister locked all of the doors and called my mom to come pick her up! was that rude? was it illegal? I'm in a committed relationship with a wonderful guy who I love very much and he loves me. Last night though he casually mentions that tonight he's going to see a play. I knew that his ex-girlfriend was in the play but he never said anything else about it until later on in the evening when I got upset over something else. Then he tells me that she will be in the play and that they will probably go out to dinner afterwards. I know that he is still friends with her and that they talk occassionally which I am fine with but I feel weird about this situation. It isn't that I don't trust him but I can't help thinking what if she wants him back. How do you deal with such feelings? I don't want to come off as jealous and he already apologized for not telling me sooner. Is it something I just have to get over? Any advice with how to deal with the situation?

my mom is really overprotective. i told her that my freinds drink and then she used it against me. i told her that in confidence so that she would trust me more. i don't understand her . I am 15 and she wont let me go to anyones house when their parents arent home she bothers me so much and she doesnt understand me. she pushes me too hard. she like tries to live her life over again through me. she makes me run for my grades president. i won , but she pushes me so hard. she tried to make me perfect and says i can do better in my Adavanced class (that im not supposed to be in) but i really cant. my dad understands but my mom is CRAZY and she doesn't even listen to what he has to say. she yells like a mad women and it pisses me off. she thinks shes always right and never wrong. i wish my parents would divorce so i could live with my dad and not have all this added stress from my mom. i already have enough at school becuase she pushes too much on me

I am the maid of honor for my friend. I offered to host a bridal shower, but the bride chose to have the party at one of the bridesmaid's houses. The bridesmaid told me "I win! Ha Ha!" She also said, "My husband and I would be honored to host the party."

Since her house is too small, she will be renting a tent and heaters, and also renting game tables. At my house, we wouldn't need a tent and I have a pool table, so we wouldn't have to rent games either.

Do I have to contribute to the cost of this party even if the bridesmaid is hosting? Doesn't the host of a party pay for the party? (All the bridesmaids could have hosted a shower at her house, but she has said she's hosting).

And should I really have to pay these extra rental costs when I wouldn't have had to pay them at my house?

If the shower was at my house, I wouldn't have expected anyone else to pay, but I don't want to pay for a party that I don't get to plan and don't even get the credit as host.

There is this girl, a sister of a friend who is very pretty. My husband in the past has mentioned how he thinks she is very pretty. No big deal. I was just on his computer and saw that he has went on her profile a number of times to look at her pictures. I asked him in a very non obvious manner, and he said he doesnt. I even said, I am glad you don't. he says ofcourse, why would i? My issue is not so much about him looking at her pictures over and over again, but that he lied about it. I say it is because he doesnt want to upset me, or whatever...but is that right? should i be worried that he keeps looking at her pictures? please help!

I'm very Dyslexic. My dad is, my grate grandfather was, now lucky me. All my life I have struggled throw school, I'm 25 now. I was diagnose when I was 6. Thanks to my Mac that spell checks everything it looks like I can spell. I try to hide my disability as much as I can. But you can't hind it from someone you care about, they need to know.

Anyways I'm in a relationship with a man that is pretty smart no learning problems at all. Not even in his family. He has never been friends or knew any of his friends to be dyslexic. Now him and I have been together for 7 months. We love each other but he just does not understand me. I am starting to wonder if this relationship is worth it. How can I make him some what know how it is to be me?

He is also a close-minder person that does not help. Yet I feel that we can help each-other out. In a weird way complete one and other. What I lack in he is good in. What he lacks in I understand.

What do I do?
