what would you do in this situtation?

My friend was on the phone with her boyfriend and stuff they were talking and stuff and she called me back crying. her boyfriends friend called her a whore, but the worse part was that her boyfriend agreed with him. So she called me crying and i called him 3 way call, and he told me he didn't call her a whore so i asked him that if he didn't why didn't he defended my friend and not let his friend insult her that way he just tells me that he didn't cause the guy was his friend so he diodn't do anything. My friend feels like **** and i'm telling her not to cry he's not worth her tears but she can't stop. then she called him back and stuff and she hung up on him and he was still on the line while we were talking so she didn't know went and checked he was and called her ***** for not talking plz help me! and remeber WHAT WOULD YOU DO IN THIS SITUATION?

P.S. they're 13 etc. so try to not to go overboard with the insults or comments ty :)

My husband and I have custody of his two children. Their mother has been in and out of their lives- one time she didn't see or speak to them at all for two years. She has been coming to get them for her court-appointed visitations for the last two years. She gets them Tuesdays from 3-7pm and Saturdays 9-7. She started dating a guy about a year ago and they have recently moved in together. We know for a fact that he physically abuses her as she has had to have stitches in her face which she admits that he did.
My question is this: she had them today for their normal visit and called me around 3:30 to tell me that she had to work at 4pm and gave the kids a choice whether they wanted to go ahead home or stay with the boyfriend until 7 when the visit was up. My oldest (boy) wanted to come home the 7yr old girl wanted to stay with the bf, I told her no--she screams that I have no legal right that they are hers till 7 and its up to her where they are. She says she is taking us to court.Help!

Kay, so my best friend has been going out with this total jerk for about a month now. I was supporting her one hundrend percent until I found out he was talking about me. Ive NEVER done anything mean to him, so I dont know where his rudeness came from. So anyway, he started saying really horrible things about me. At first, I asked him nicely to stop, and he promised he would. Unfortunatelly, a day later, he started up again. He would say terrible things on myspace, to my face, or even right in front of me. He's awful. I sent him a nasty email telling him to stop, and I pretty much assumed he would. I was wrong. Ever since that email, we have had an intense "hatred" for each other. We send awful emails back and fourth. I feel kinda bad about it, but he deserves it.
Ive confronted my friend, telling her how much he hurts me, but she refueses to do anything about it. What should I do?

I am a single lady, really wanting to become the other half of a couple. I had conversations with two male friends this past weeks which made me to ask - what is wrong with me.
The first one just got married and then he said, "well, I always thought you were the one for me but you told me you had a boyfriend". Thing is, I liked him but never knew he liked me too and I didnt even have a boyfriend, so why did I say I did?

I said to the second chap as I have known him for over 2 years now " you know I always liked you but didnt let you know because I am older than you". I met him where I used to work and he came in as an intern and he laughed at me because he is actually 2 years older than me.So why was I so shy I didnt even try to befriend him.

Now I'm very single and miserable.

Please, how do I prevent such happening again?

I own my own home, but I have been considering selling my house and moving in with my mother. My father died a year ago and she doesn't get around all that great. I will pay all expenses on her house and I can do all the other things that need to be done. I make enough to live alone and feel I need to take care of my mother. I am going to make an inlaw apt. for myself.
What do you think of this?

Oprah humors people and tells people what they want to hear instead of what they need to hear. This keeps the audience happy. Studies show happy people tend to buy more. This is why advertisers like her and give her free stuff to give to others in hopes that people watching will want to buy the same things they see on TV (So no, Oprah is not giving things out, out of her own pocket).

Celebrities like her are meant to keep the audience happy, complacent enough and clueless so that they will buy products she advertises. As long as she is making $$ for her corporate advertisers, she gets paid.
And the audience is happy.

What have you done to forget or not think about past relationships (friendships) that ended on a bad note.
Its been hard to not think about things I could have done differently or how I could have not been as awkward when trying to avoid the person.

Context: Starting hanging out with a kid who turned out not to be the type of person I wanted to hang out around. Knew him slightly from highschool and he went to my college.

My gf just broke up with me just cuz i talk to alot of other girls, i cant help it, i get along with girls and i like to talk to them.....I dont even flirt with them, i just talk to them and joke around with them like friends do and she doesnt understand that she is the only girl that means something to me. She thinks i am losig interest in her and that i am gonna cheat on her, but if i stop talking to my friends that are girls, i just lost most of my friends. Idk how many times i have told her and treat her like the she is the only girl i love. I've been with the same boyfriend for 2 years. I LOVE him SO much, and he used to too. I just used to feel like I was the most amazing girl in the world to him. I don' feel like that anymore. He never grabs my hand, or if I try to grab his he acts like he doesn't want to hold it. Also if I'm mad at him about something, he doesn't want to talk out anymore and make it ok. Lately I feel taken for granted. He doesn't look at me the same way, and he tells me that he still loves me, but I always have to ask, or say it first. I never feel very secure with him anymore, which pushes him further away. We both are all each other has at college so I don't know if it's love or habit. I don't feel like I make him happy, and he does do sweet things like call me everyday, hug me, cook dinner with me, but it's like I still don't feel "loved." I can be too hard on him sometimes, but sometimes I fee like he doesn't truly love me, but it's just I'm so convenient. We also aren't as intimate. Suggestion?

There was this one boy, who was a pretty good friend of mine. then all of a sudden, he asked me out. I really didn't want to mess up our friendship so I said no. After a long week of awkwardness, we started being friends again, and talked on the phone and texted regularly. I started noticing that we wouldn't talk at school for some reason, so I asked him why. he said he didn't know. During this time he told me he didn't like me like that anymore but I noticed that on his desk for science, there was a lot of graffiti all saying, "I love "my name here"." I was confused because i really thought that he didn't like me anymore. We were still friends until lately. he is now completely ignoring me. It's not that I want him to like me again, it's just that I don't want him to hate me. Another problem is that another friend of mine now likes me. I only want to stay friends with him too, but I'm scared that our relationship will turn out like the other one. what should i do about both of them

I write a lot of personal things in my diary! I wrote about a guy I liked, who's in grade 11. I also wrote about the type of guys I like. Well, today, I was with my mom, my aunt and my cousin in the car, and my mom started saying, "I think she's in love, look at her. And I know the type of guys she likes, she doesn't like the type of guys like her brother's friends, I think she'd rather date someone more smart" I practically wrote the same thing in my diary! Then after that she told me that grade 11 isn't a big age gap for me. She also starting saying how personal I am, and told my aunt that I probably write about my crushes in my DIARY.

What do you think? Please don't give me a "how would we know" answer. Moms, do you think it's right to read through your daughter's journal?!

A coworker of mine wanted to know if I had a boyfriend. This is a guy I work around a lot , but don't really know or talk to that much. HE didn't actually ask, but another coworker I didn't know approached me with the "do you have a boyfriend. someone wants to know" thing. I responded yes I do, and asked why. She just said someone wants to know and walked away. She doesn't work there anymore, so I can't ask her anything.

I'm certain it was this guy because he was the only male there that day and he had been giving me some intense eye contact for a long time. He's started acting a little strange now when he sees me, I think it's pretty obvious it was him, so I don't know what to do. I do think the guy is cute, but like I said, I am unavailable.

Should I say anything to him? Do you think he was really interested or do guys just ask about any attractive girl they see?

I have been married jist over a year and in that time i found that my wife is addicted to sleeping pill.(She overdosed acadentley last november that was my wakeup call) Have been to several theapest that told hir it was just a bad time in her life and that she was not addicted. Finel two moths ago i was at the end of my rope after finding more pill I moved out. Found hir a therapest that spechelized in addiction and got hir set up with this person. now my wife has been clean for a month. Wih the addiction come all the challanges it has on a relationship. during that time my wife has been a pathalogacal lyer ling about everything from money to leagel issies ifound ot that she had file for bancrupsey 4 years ago thing just seem to keep poping up. She is a great gir that i love very much but i dont trust her any more! I am alway thinking i will find more pill alway seeking around to see wat she has in hir pures or car lookinf for the pills. How do i get over the trust probloms or will I??

I really liked this girl with me in college and I felt like I have to talk to her and tell her that I'm feeling her, I know she's not seeing anyone, so I talked to her 4 days ago, told her I liked her, and she wasn't expecting it, so she said she's in a shock and don't what to say, and after moments of silence, since I didn't know what to say either, I just said that it's obvious and I should leave and she said that I'll get over it. and then she said she's going to a party this weekend and would like me to come (don't know what the hell is this supposed to mean), and then I just left... I didn't go to that party.

Now i'm thinking of giving her sometime to think and then talk to her again, or get another female to talk to her about me since i already talked to her. Should I expect her to get back to me after she now knows that I like her?, since she didn't know what to say when I dropped the news on her? I know that I should move on but it gets harder and harder to forget about her...

Just an hour ago I shared my darkest secret with my husband after 3 years of marriage, I told him that I was raped when I was just 7 years old and the person who did it was his best friend. The problem is that my husband just stops talking whenever he's upset and now he's doing the same thing and I am wondering did I do the right thing telling him my secret since he's always inviting his friend over to our house and I hate him to death.
