There was this one boy, who was a pretty good friend of mine. then all of a sudden, he asked me out. I really didn't want to mess up our friendship so I said no. After a long week of awkwardness, we started being friends again, and talked on the phone and texted regularly. I started noticing that we wouldn't talk at school for some reason, so I asked him why. he said he didn't know. During this time he told me he didn't like me like that anymore but I noticed that on his desk for science, there was a lot of graffiti all saying, "I love "my name here"." I was confused because i really thought that he didn't like me anymore. We were still friends until lately. he is now completely ignoring me. It's not that I want him to like me again, it's just that I don't want him to hate me. Another problem is that another friend of mine now likes me. I only want to stay friends with him too, but I'm scared that our relationship will turn out like the other one. what should i do about both of them

It is awkward for someone who has just asked you out; so he is going to be a little distant from you in public for awhile. He just feels a little humiliated. He probably still DOES like you like that, but he will not admit it because there is no point in doing so. Did you tell him that you said no because you didn't want to mess up your friendship? It might help him to feel better when you say no to any guy friend, so that he doesn't feel put down. I would do that with the second one, maybe it will go more easily. By the way, you are smart to want to just stay friends and not get involved in relationships too soon, since people's feeling change so much, it is way too much drama. People will keep the friends longer than they will keep any BF, in the beginning, so you are smart to want to keep your guy friends.
