Yes, you are right.
You might want to let me add that Oprah is only in it for Oprah. The show is about Oprah, what SHE thinks about an issue and how SHE feels about an issue. Her show only brings to light social issues but we are only given 10 minutes of the introduction of the issue, 10 minutes of the guest describing the issue, 5 minutes of what Oprah thinks about the issue, and 2 minutes of what the expert has to say on the issue. The audience now has very little part in discussing the issue. Great television, but it does little to solve the issue! And of course if you don't agree with Oprah, she never speaks to you again. So much for fairness in free speech.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who sees this...

I tried to appeal to Oprah and certain others Personally with some very powerful abuse issues involving the abuse of the Mentally Ill and Developmentally Disabled in my State.
She had all the information she needed to expose the system in my state and relieve the anguish of many people and their lives if she had chosen to but did not.
It did not meet her personal and business needs along the lines of which you speak and others.
Bill O'Reilly and others also declined.
I eventually appealed against my Governer and a US Senator and the whole State's Administration all the way to the US Department of Justice and still never got anywhere.

Did you know Oprah didn't even go to College?
She's a Bum! and a Phony and she's scamming off of People!
She's working it People! She's worth B, B, B, Billions!
I have heard of her turning away many people in need because it didn't fit her Show's needs or make Ratings or whatever......Especially Disabled, or Conservatives or Men.
