My boyfriend and I have been together for more than a year. We have moved from place to place trying to find somewhere where we can settle down and be happy. He wanted to move to a place because he thought it would be good for me where I could find more opportunities for a job. Well, I got a job, but he was stressed out that he couldn't. So he would take it out on me. I honestly don't think he understood what he was doing to me. We then moved to his hometown and he still did not find a job. I was away from my family and was very homesick. So I left him and came back home. I have not been so miserable in my life. I miss him and have talked to him about getting back together. He has emotionally abusive tendencies, but he is still a really great guy and I know he does not want to be without me again. I know he truly loves me. I want to compromise with him so we can both be happy. But now my family and friends do not like him because of all the bad things I said and made me the victim.

This guy has asked me out on different occasions. Its not been possible but that does not mean i dont want to go out with him. I am just sometimes very busy. Hes got real bad temper. my new boyfriend got some texts last night from his ex and it said 'thank you sweety' and that's all I saw, I left for a while and when I got back he told me that her parents told her that he came by to give her flowers. Well, he got me flowers last week so it's not hard to believe she recieved some aswellAnd I just realized I have 14 roses..isn't it usually a dozen? I'm thinkin he gave her 10..Ive always turned him down in the past cause I just could never trust him, he flirts with a lot of girls and now this just makes me concerned.. I said 'did you really give her those flowers because I'd rather you just be honest with me' and he said no he didn't...okay so then he deleted the texts so I couldn't see them..which is a tad suspicious..why do that if you didn't have anything to hide? i need some honest advise!

would it be wrong for an 18 year old (female) to see a 16 year old (male)? i just can help but think its pervy and wrong...people would think im taking advantage of him as im the 'adult' and he's just a 'child'.

buut i dont know, he keeps saying age doesnt matter but it does to me people are going to look down on me! and u know, i dont what to be getting in to that sort of situation where ill be called a perve.

most people wouldnt take me for an 18 year old anyway...not that that makes things any different.

would would u do in this situation? :S

Previously asked a question re FWB. I have this relationship for about a year now. He has said 'this is more than sex between us' and 'we should get together for a meal which I'll cook' talks about his personal stuff, previous relationships, the hurts and the joys. Asks if I need financial help for a particular project.
I always recoil from getting too deep, I listen to his depthy talkings, I refrain from saying 'I love the way you... this or that' BUT he often lets me down, can't make it etc, but acts very apologetic about mishaps where he couldn't make it. Says he's gagging for me or had a dream about me.
I feel he's changing and I am afraid to upset the stability, but it must be nicer for him to allow his emotions to surface now and then. I can't allow mine to, as I'm afraid it will be misinterpreted and he'll think I'm getting clingy and needy, when I am not. I just appreciate what we have. It started off as FWB but now I am not so sure about the way its going? Happened to any1?

In May I called off an engagement w/ my ex-fiance because I thought we couldn't communicate and he wasn't listening to my concerns about things we should talk about before we get married. After I broke up with him, he totally understood/ listened to what I'd been trying to say, and started working on things with me.

I thought it might be just to get me back and wanted to take things slow... we've been going to couple's counseling and I see that he is sincere about being a better communicator and working on issues etc., of course we've also worked on my issues including cold feet and fear... I was afraid to get married b/c my parents have a horrible marriage, but I've realized that we are different and that he and I can go the distance together.

I am very sure now that we are ready to get married, and it seems he is, too. My question: would it be silly of me to ask him to marry me since I'm the one who broke it off?

well... everyday my mom drives me home from school because i normally walk and its way to cold to walk now. there is this girl that not too many people like that asks for a ride home everyday. everyday no matter how fast i run to my moms car she gets a ride somehow because i act too nice. when people see me with her they think im her friend! i am so not and sorry but i dont want to be. i dont have the guts or heart to tell her off. also its so cold out and ill feel bad if i make her walk... Ive just gotton a divorce from my husband of 10 yrs. I married him when i was 16 and i just turned 29. Im starting over with nothing only a place to stay. I didnt even finish high school let alone a GED. Ive never had to be responsible for myself now im lost as if i was still 16. Ive been sheltered now im out in the world i feel totally alone and lost. There is this man that I like and I think he likes me too.we met when working together a couple of years ago. we've kissed one time and still keep in touch even though I had to move to another state with a job promotion. He's real busy with new work responsibilities himself so I told him I could come see him if he wanted and he said it would be great if I did. Now he tells me he taking vacn at the nearest possible time & is coming to see me. Also he keeps asking me how long I'm going to be around (as I often travel overseas for long periods). What does he mean by this? Is he interested in have a romantic relationship with me? We are attracted to each other..both of us know this.

For a while I was casually talking to this one guy. Eight months later we decided to make things official, he is now my bf of 4 months. While we were just talking he pretty much dangled, in my face, this other girl he was kind of talking to who lives 6 hours away in his hometown. For a while I felt threatened by her. It even came to a point I just stopped talking to him, but he kept pursuing me. I got a little worried that he would choose her over me, but that’s not how it went. Well he talked to her one time, after we got together, and I explained to him why I didn’t like him talking to her. The fact that he brought her to my attention like she was something special, you know? He assured me that I had nothing to worry about. That though he thought she was a cool person, I blew her out of the water and she could not compare. In the end and without me forcing he said with ease “No problem I just wont talk to her anymore.” And that he would do whatever to make me happy.

I have been married for 5 years and all 5 have been rocky. We have two children, very young children, one of which has some special needs. Hubby has been both physically and verbally abusive and now I have found a yahoos personal profile by him looking for a girlfriend. He was thrown out of the house last week for violence but has since been able to come back... now this. What do I do? I am a stay at home mom which helps me take care of hospital visits and surgeries, etc... this also means I have no income of my own and virtually no prospects since I never attended college. Should I stay and act solely as roommates and let him do as he pleases or uproot my children's lives in hopes of being able to care for them alone? I'm lost.

so i really like this guy and i think he likes me, but i'm not sure. we watch videos together pretty regularly and when we do we sit really close and share a blanket but then after the movie is over he seems to leave as soon as possible. we also go out for dinner sometimes, but nothing ever seems to progress. so does he even like me? and if so, how can i turn this into a relationship? also, we're both 20 if that makes a difference. an evil mad woman when i am around my ex?

My girlfriend is going through a really bad time. What I mean by that is she is going through hell and back, more than once. We were talking on the phone and she got another call. She didnt call back for 3 hours, but she was talking with one of her guy best friends who has feelings for her. I know she was spilling everything thats on her mind, but for 3 hours? My girlfriend feels self conscious because I sometimes like to masturbate, alone rather then with her. And because sometimes I like to watch porn as well. She feels self conscious because she thinks she isn't doing her job. Ive been married for 8 years and have what most would call the perfect life. I have two kids, a house, a wife and all its missing the the picket fence. I work hard...and DO help around the house (dishes, trash and help with the kids bath time and making breakfast every morning). Anyone looking at us from afar would say we have it all. Yet...we have no passion left. None. Its as though all of the wind has gone out of our sail and we are going nowhere. My wife is a very strong texas woman who gets what she wants and would rather win a fight then be fair or right or just. I have been way too passive...trying not to cause problems, and yet. Im more lonely now then i have ever been. My question....when is it right for you to end a marraige when the only thing wrong with it, is that you are lonely and havent had "relations" in a long time?
