after dating for 5 months my ex girlfriend broke up with me because we were fighting for a week. She suffers from depression and she said she didn't want to fight anymore so she ended it. She wants to still hang out everyday and be friends. Im still hurting and not ok. She's recently been seeing this other guy all the time, going to movies, dinner ect. When I brought up the idea of her being interested in him more so than me she told me to *** off because im being a jealous idiot. However everytime I call her, he's there. He's even answered the phone one time. I think i'm ready to pack my bags and leave. I even told her i was and she said I was walking out on her if I did. I want to support her and her depression but she's always seeing this guy and I think she's using her problems as a cop out. What do you think? I need all the advice in the world. I don't want to throw this 5 month relationship away, she was my first love. I'm in college by the way.

So me and my boyfriend broke up like three days ago (I broke up with him) because I heard he texted a girl and asked her to have sex with him. But anyways at the time I believed it was true but now I am not entirely sure it was. He says he didn't do it but other people said he did. But he has never did anything to make me not trust him. Plus I am usually always with him and he usually wouldnt have time to be with another girl cuz he was always with me! anyways I really want Jake back now cuz life is just so hard without him! He IS my world and I need him back! but I think I hurt him really badly cuz I asked him if me and him could have a second chance at it and he said "not right now cuz we just need some time apart and I think we should see other people to see if we r meant to be" and I broke down. But I cannot wait so what should I do??

So there's a girl-let's call her Jane. Jane has a BF, let's call him Mark. I went out with Jane 2 times before for about a month and both times she lied to me and broke my heart-lied to me to get with Mark. I am still absolutely in love with Jane and Mark is treating her like crap (ignoring her, blowing her off, etc.) and she always comes to me for support. Jane calls me her "best friend" and says she wants to date me in the future. I actually asked her out and she said no. I want to know, is she going to dump Mark and go out with me, or am I chasing hopeless love? Did she promise me the future to make me feel better? All Jane's friends hate Mark and me, and I think that affects her. Do you think she will ever date me again? Should I move on?

My ex wife in a never ending quest for control bought my 8 year old son a cell phone for his birthday. Now, he brings the phone over the house and thinks up every reason under the sun to use it, specifically to call who is in the address book of the phone. Well the address book only contains my ex's friends, family and she even put the number of her first husband in it(his brothers dad). He is never alone without me or my wife and there have never been any issues until now, with this. Her arguement about him having it for his "safety" doesnt work, because he is never alone. There have never been any allegations of abuse or mistreatment on any side and we have been divorced for 8 years. I think I am going to tell him to turn it off when he is with me, but when he is with his mom he can use it as much as he wants.

My thought is that this is just another way for her to pry into my visitation and exert influence all under the excuse of "safety". Any thoughts?

my stepdaughter is driving me crazy... she (used to ) live way above her means, and now has a huge debt load, so when her car breaks down, there are no funds left.... and we jump in and help.....I wasn't raised like that... unless I have the funds, I won't buy , plus I like to have a wee bit of a financial cushion, even if it means living on a basic level... in case of emergency... now here for my question....can you live from pay day to pay day without feeling insecure....????

hi ...my problem is i just brake up with my fiance,after 2 years through it we wasn't together also there was secrets i didn't know about it ,i was just so blind cuz i loved him so much even more than myself...finally i discovered that he was lieing all the time &cheeting me...he said that he have to leave to get a job ,but the truth is he got already another life with another person...&when i talk to he says that i'm so wrong ,but in the same time he never show his love to me or even special feelings twords me....now after all that painfull ,yes i feeel relief again ,but my heart browken &i feel that i was so fool ..even when i try to forget everything &start again,in the night when i want to sleep i thinking about everything ,he was with another girl &so happy ,but i was thinking about him ..any way ...please i really need help to stand up again with new start..do you think it's good idea if i send him telling him how i feel because of him &i 'll never forgive him?!

speak of your partner when talking to other people. eg use the words we and us instead of me and i. Like would you say I went there on holiday, when really you and your partner did or we went there on holiday - as an example, if you know what i mean.

I live with my husband and sister. We normally send a Christmas card from the 3 of us, but she has had a boyfriend for about one month now and wants him to sign the card too. Is this ok? It just seems a bit odd to me as it's a "Mum and Dad" card, or am I just overreacting?

I just found out that my boyfriend fooled around with another girl last Saturday. I was away, busy because I had some school event, he knew that I was not going to be home and when he went out with his friends he kissed another girl. This girl is part our group. The next day, (yesterday) my friends came to our apartmet after the weeked break and they told me what hapened. I felt offended cause the day before this happened we were together and we had hell of a night. Everything was nice between us. He's jeoulous of me and he doesn't trust me with other guys, want me for himself but he can do anything he wants.
The question is this should I let him know that I know what he did or act like I don't know and when we meet again tell him what I found out? Should I give him the satisfaction to make him feel like I care and I'm jeolous of what he did? I don't know what to do. My friends keep telling me act cool but I don't know if I can act like nothing happened. What should I do? please help

well..i wouldn't necessarily call it a fear..but last time i was in a situation (yesterday..) where my boyfriend wanted to kiss me..i COMPLETELY failed in every aspect of it.
