speak of your partner when talking to other people. eg use the words we and us instead of me and i. Like would you say I went there on holiday, when really you and your partner did or we went there on holiday - as an example, if you know what i mean.

If "we" have talked and reached a common decision and "they" need to know "we" both mean it - say the tile guys want to know if "we" both want the same color tile, then yes I say "we" discussed it and we are going with this tile.

The only other time I say "we" is when I have a tapeworm or I can see my invisible friend, 'Princess.'

Otherwise I do not expect a grown, intelligent, opinionated woman would want me speaking for her. As in, and she is just finding this out, "We're gonna go git us another beer."

Sometimes I do and sometimes I don't. It's not a big deal though. I've been married 5 years and I still say my car and my kitchen dishes, stuff like that.

If it includes him I say we, even if they just ask about me.
ex. We went to Florida for Thanksgiving.

So there will be no confusion I always say my
wife and I, because it's just that plain and simple.

Sometimes, but not always, whats your point?

yes we do that 'we instead of I'...we also tend to refer to each other as 'my wife', or 'my husband' instead of calling each other by our first names-for us its more endearing....We call each other by first name when we're upset with each other.

Me and my man always say "Us" and "We"......we are one.....I do it around others, and I hear him do the same. Strange.....I never thought about it until you asked, but we hardly ever say "I" always "Us" and "We"......hmmmmmmmmmmm...even at home we do that.....

Well, if htey ask about both of us or it was something we both did I say "we" or "us". If htey ask about just me I say "I".

I meant they, not htey
