well..i wouldn't necessarily call it a fear..but last time i was in a situation (yesterday..) where my boyfriend wanted to kiss me..i COMPLETELY failed in every aspect of it. It was outside and really windy..so my hair kept getting in the way...it was truly a mess...part of it had to do with me not wanting to open my mouth..at all...HEEELLLPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Confidence, but you need to gain it first. You just know when you are ready. What you can do is make your lips kissable by exfoliating and using lip balm not lip gloss. And you just need to trust the fact that your boyfriend cares.

it comes naturally.
no one is bad at a peck i learned.
i had me first kiss last week after many failed attempts like the one you described.

next time it is windy, pull your hair back in a cute pony tail.

and just let him lean in and you move in the rest of the way for a 1 second peck.
its over before you know it and its magical!

trust me ,i am 13 and you kinda of seem around my age.
i wouldnt lie to you, because a few weeks ago i was asking the same question.
trust me, please.
just be calm.
and practice kissing your pillow.
i know it sounds kind of funny, but it helps, and no one will ever know!

Sounds like more of a performance fear than a fear of the act itself. Don't worry about it, the only way to get comfortable with kissing is to keep practising. Just stay relaxed and let him take the lead.

awe.. i wouldnt call it a fear, you're probably just nervous.
dont worry, when it happens, itll either work out and youll love it or itll mess up and the two of you can laugh about it!

for example, i once had a first kiss with a guy on my sidewalk, but there was construction in my neighborhood. so he leans in to kiss me and right when our lips touched he slipped on the little black tarp and it was hilarious we still laugh about it!

Here's some advice; practice with something like kissing a doll or something with just a peck, then try to open your mouth and try to enjoy it.

trust me. EVERYONE goes through this. it honestly just comes naturally. my first kiss- psh i thought was just a dream ! like. i honestly didnt even think it REALLY happened. in my mind i was like '...was that really my first kiss?'

once your first is over- the rest are 10x easier. it'll come naturally- i never practiced really. lol

Only one way to get over it... practice, practice, practice

Your new motto...
"even a bad kiss, is better than no kiss at all....."

Maybe you don't really want to kiss him.

The best way to get over any fear is to confront it and do it.
