I live with my husband and sister. We normally send a Christmas card from the 3 of us, but she has had a boyfriend for about one month now and wants him to sign the card too. Is this ok? It just seems a bit odd to me as it's a "Mum and Dad" card, or am I just overreacting?

I should have said they live in another part of the world, so they haven't met him yet.

no, a month old boyfriend is not a good person to sign a family card. If he likes let him send one on his own but not from you 3. They may look at it later down the road and say who is ....?

If you do not feel it is appropriate for your sisters boyfriend to sign a family card, then ask her to send one just from the two of them and you send one from the two of you, you can still post in one envelope if you wish to save postage costs.
