Should I visit mom for Christmas? I am pretty upset with her becuase she has this feud going on with my aunts and uncles and never in her life owns up to anything or takes responibity for anything, including it takes two to argue and she is at least 50 % responible for the feud. She has insisted on bad mouthing them and not seeing her as wrong to any degree in the situation. Her sister has made numerous attempts to mend fences and my mom never answers her calls or letters, but then complains to me that they dropped her. And yes the feud is stupid, its over a grudge she holds "She says they told her what to do all her life and she is sick of it." My opinion has never counted growing up but I think there were lots of times that if she had took their advice all of our lives would have been a lot better. She wants my hubby and I to visit at Christmas, but he is still mad that she no showed at our wedding. "not wrong on her part either" Her health is not the best but still? Doormat?

My mom has been at odds with his brothers and sisters for years now after my grandparents passed on and now instead of sharing the homeplace as a summer home, now my mom wants her share of it in cash. My mom is the youngest sibling and her brothers/sisters have occasionally gave her advice when her life was headed down the wrong path, always were good to my brother and I and occasionally gave my mom money for Christmas or Birthdays for us. Now ever since my grandparents are gone, my mom has been in a jealosly contest with them and picked fights, or kept fights going. I told her on the phone today, "Mom I really wish you would give them a chance they seem to care somewhat when I talk to them. She claims she was dropped by them, and she never got credit for anything. (She never did anything to keep the peace.) Her sister has tried to mend fences but mom says it is too stressful right now, but still claims she has been dropped. Can she be pleased?

I don't have a choice. But even if I did I would probably at least do part time. Do you like your choice.

My boyfriend and I met on deployment to Iraq a few years ago and fell in love. He went home a few months before I did, but we promised to live together when I got back. So I moved to a new state and went to a new school to be with him. I even transfered to the National Guard in his state from the Reserves(which is not an easy process for those of you who don't know). We lived together for about 2 and a half years. Our relationship wasn't always easy, but we always loved each other and we were each others best friends. He found out a few months ago that he would be deployed again...his mission this time may be more dangerous than it was for him last time. He is an MP and right now he is training to be a turret gunner for convoys...when I met him in Iraq he was basically working a desk job as intelligence...but I think somethings he saw the first time he was over there freaked him out. He had to go through a dead soldier's personal items(he didn't know the soldier)

There is this guy I really really care about, but he's not ready for a relationship yet. He's been really busy lately and I don't want to be a bother. People said maybe if I give him some time and space he might realize what he's missing and come around, if it's meant to be it will just be patience. So I've decided to trust and be patient. As hard as this is for me how can I move on? I don't have many friends here. The only family I have around here are 2 cousins and a sister, but they're into their spouse and kids. I just started a new job so I don't have much money. Befor I met him I was comfortable with staying at home watching tv and reading books and being alone, but now I hate doing that. I need help on finding something to do to occupy my time.

We both are in love with each other and it was something that just happened. We work with each other and both look out for one another. I caught my husband cheating about 6 years ago and have been alone until I met this one man. I always said I would never date a married man, so I guess that saying never say never is kind of true. Please don't pass judgement just make comments. When we are together we have alot of fun and the sex is also great...... We both think we are soul mates. At times we say no more we are going to end it, but then we both call one another and and the feeling goes away.

If you have been in a relationship and it failed, but you really care about each other. Even if it was messy. How can both people really be certain that that person is even a possibility?

I know it is a complex question, but most folks seem sure one moment and then change their minds that next and are sure then.

In the end it should really be about whether the two would come together and be happier together than they would be apart, and that they both really want to be there.

Would it be safe to say that you should marry someone who is your best friend?

I ask because it seems people are so sure one way or the other, as if it were forever, but for some reason it seems more like it is easier to treat it that way.

All I said I wanted to get was a tattoo of my favourite football club on my arm. She said like, "Well you could get a whole load of infections", So I said I'd go to a proper place and she can even check it out first if she wants then she was just like, "no you're not getting one, end of". Typical parent, impossible to get a straight answer out of her, (single parent), just like a politician!

Oh and I'm 17, 18 next July.

So... what's the big deal...? Is it one of those things that some parents get when they can't accept their kids are growing up? :P

My cousin is getting married out of the country next week. Half my family cant go because of finances. I cant go because of money, unable to get work off now (retail, xmas season) and college finals.
My cousin comes from a lot of money. hes not a millionaire, but he doesnt have to think twice about going to another country to get married. All of his guests are paying for their own plane ticket, passport, hotel room (in a hotel thats 200 a night that they picked out for everyone to stay at) , rental car and all meals that are not served at the wedding.
Some of the family (including those going and not going) asked me to pitch in a $100 dollars for a rediculous flashy gift. I think they are insane. I am now getting the cold shoulder because i said I didnt have a 100 extra dollars (which i dont) id rather make a $50 donation in their name, or something like that
Am i insne or are they?
Or maybe i am just too poor to be part of the family. sorry people for putting myself thru college

If you suspected your boyfriend was having "cybersex" with other people via webcam or chatting in a sexual way with them would you let him do it?

My BF lives ages away so we only meet eachother once every weekend, he has a very high sex drive and I know he likes using online dating sites and talking to other people. Should I let him do it and turn a blind eye as a sort of compromise?

Do you think it classes as REAL adultery?

Im a an attractive female. When I got out, heads turn..Im not trying to sound conceited, im just better detailing for the purpose of my question. The problem is is that i cant find someone like me. Im educated, smart, good job, etc. It seems like all the gangsta hoodrat men love me. Its hard to find someone on my level. I am very selective now due to failed relationships in the past. I dont want to be single, but I refuse to settle for anyone. Does anyone else have this problem?
