so, how successful are long distance relationships? it scares me...should i be scared? i mean..what if things dont work out? and what if they do? shouldnt we move closer to one another more than being so far apart???

I met this great guy when i was 21 he was 20. He took my son in as if he were his own he raised him and then asked me to be his wife... i thought things were good but i found out after the break up had been with a girl for 6 months behind my back. He is now married to her and just had a baby 5 months ago.... I LOVE him with all my heart and soul and he is my soul mate the one that I am to be with ...I just know it.... I am crying ever night thinking of him any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I think it is horrible anytime a child is murdered. But what makes some children end up on national news and other on local news? I would never want to believe that it has anything to with race but the more I look into it the more it seems that way. Like the story of baby grace has been in the news more then the story of Daniyah Marie Jackson. Yes I understand that at first they did not know who baby grace was and that could explain why she was in the news a little more. But I think that daniyah murder was beyond horrible. Why do you think that some children make it in te news and not others?I would just like to see others view point.

Were not together but he has a new girlfriend and is unemployed, he refuses to help me out by babysitting so that i dont have to pay a babysitter. He doesnt even answer my calls when it has something to do with our son. But he is wanting to take him to a family reunion this saturday....i feel like he is just wanting to take him for that weekend to make it seem like he is a good father when really he never ever sees him. Should i let him take him?

i was over at his house the other night and he didn't try anything on me. I finally asked him last night if he wasn't attracted to me or what? His response was he really wanted to but he didn't want to be out of line and he knew once we got started, it would get out of control. I don't know about you but I feel like I'm practically begging for it and it's starting to make me grumpy. He doesn't ever suggest when he has free time to get together and I'm getting weary and tired of being the initiator. I'm just not feeling it anymore and wondering if he's feeling the same way which might explain the whole sex thing. I want to end it and I've tried but he gets all mushy on me then I can't. HELP

Yes that's right he has just left me our 1month old & our 2yo boy, well he has been gone since Friday, I haven't been able to stop crying, I feel so used :'( 3 YEARS I have done nothing but love him & all he has done is hurt me time & time again, I turned into a drunk for 4months that's how bad I was over this guy. We have 3kids, one past away.. born a sleeping angel at 26weeks. I have gained so much weight with him, have hardly any self respect left. He has another kid to another woman who he visits at her house with her in the house! His ex has called me every name in the book, harassed me for 3years, with the sickest of words, telling me how he hates me & how much he don't love me etc. & how they r still sleeping together. I feel like f*%*n sh*t & wanna scream!!!!!!!!!! I hate him soo much for leaving me like this, he is the one looking after our kids whilst I'm in hospital in two days! i'm having gastric bypass, thats how bad my weight is coz of depression, i have been threw hell=(

Girls would you like your bf to wear a skirt if he really wanted to? Not talking about like a real feminine skirt, but rather a long denim, khaki, or camo skirt with cargo pockets on the sides. Also would you want him to shave his legs or wear tights with his skirts? Think about it, skirts are so much better for the male anatomy since they don't have the seam down the middle. I am 100% straight so don't even ask.

Got engaged for my birthday, wedding is next yr, everything is great. I love him! I went for 6 month diamond inspection & rude sales woman informed me this is a promise ring or a right hand ring, not engagement. I said its whatever we wanted it to be! She noted that it was only a $300 ring and that its not considered to be. (I emailed a complaint to the store) I don't think he knew thats what he bought and its still an engagement ring to me. But I kinda felt bad when we were at the mall. There was a store sign for a $1000 1 karat ring and he said that was ridiculous. Then we were xmas shopping and he ended up spending over $500 on video games for his daughter. I guess I was looking for input because it made me feel like our engagement wasn't worth it. Its not even a matter of how much, how big, whatever. It was the fact that paying that much for a ring was ridiculous but ok for games. I know I'm going to get some responses thinking I'm shallow but that's not where I'm going with this

my boyfriend is jobless. he has been for about 3 months. he can easily get a job with a friend of ours, but doesn't seem to want to. he makes excuses and isn't actively searching. he has a daughter, which is what infuriates me even more. i mean, if you aren't going to work for the sake of supporting yourself financially, isn't your child motivation enough to get on the ball? it's getting to the point that i'm going to break up with him for it. i love him, and i don't want to, but what kind of future do i have with a guy like this?

p.s.before you call me a gold digger----> i live on my own, graduated college, work a well paying full time job and also bartend 2 nights a week. im not looking to be financially supported.

I signed a lease for a year with 2 friends in June it is not working for me and I have decided to move out. I have no problem paying my part of the rent until the lease runs out. Now, they are saying I should still pay part of the cable bill too. I do not agree, my name is on the cable bill so I am going to turn it off and they can turn it back on in their name....I have agreed to pay for the instalation fee for them. I have no legal obligation to pay for cable in a house I am not living. But they say it is an inconvenice for them and unfair. Am I right?

A friend and I were sitting in the gym when my friend noticed a guy sitting alone. My friend insisted he sit with us, but my friend had to check out soon after. Now the guy will not stop talking to me. He got really jealous whenever my friend would talk to me. My friend just left. He always makes fun of people and sometimes me.
