I think it is horrible anytime a child is murdered. But what makes some children end up on national news and other on local news? I would never want to believe that it has anything to with race but the more I look into it the more it seems that way. Like the story of baby grace has been in the news more then the story of Daniyah Marie Jackson. Yes I understand that at first they did not know who baby grace was and that could explain why she was in the news a little more. But I think that daniyah murder was beyond horrible. Why do you think that some children make it in te news and not others?I would just like to see others view point.

I have no clue as to who gets picked to be publicized as much I am sure money has something to do with it and who will pull more viewers sad I know but I think it is true. If you do a goggle search of missing or murdered people there are those of any race any sex any age I have never seen or heard of before. It is a shame all of them cannot get the same press.

We all have become so desensitized to others needs we lose focus so quickly and the media is just tiring to give us what they perceive we want kinda a sick cycle isn't it

I wish I didn't have to agree with you, but it certainly seems to slant along racial lines.

The TV show "Without a Trace" adressed that exact issue very very well and honestly, I thought, on one of the episodes a year or so ago, although it was in a different context: it was about two missing teenagers, one white and one black. I'll never forget it.
