I signed a lease for a year with 2 friends in June it is not working for me and I have decided to move out. I have no problem paying my part of the rent until the lease runs out. Now, they are saying I should still pay part of the cable bill too. I do not agree, my name is on the cable bill so I am going to turn it off and they can turn it back on in their name....I have agreed to pay for the instalation fee for them. I have no legal obligation to pay for cable in a house I am not living. But they say it is an inconvenice for them and unfair. Am I right?

Dependent on if you made any verbal deals about the cable before hand, doesn't sound like it, sounds like selfish room-mates your just trying to get away from..... espacially with the whole "inconvenice for them and unfair" thing, that just sounds like a kid kicking and screaming.....
