my girlfriend and i have been going out for not that long and in her last relationship her and her boyfriend broke up after about 8months of going out. They had a really bad break up. Her friends say how much she likes me and i really like her. But lately shes been avioding me and it's b/c she is afraid to get in another big relationship. I really like her and i don't want to loose her. what can i do to get her to be around me more?

ok there is a group of friends that I hanged out with all the time last year. Their names are F and AH. But this year its different because F's best friend A broke up with her bf and now she is hanging out with F and AH. At the beginning of the school year i knew that it wasn't a good time to hang out with F and AH and A because I know that A needed time to talk with her closer friends about her breakup. So I hang out with my other friend SA. I like hanging out with her but I miss hanging out with F and AH and A. Except S does not like F and AH and A. But i seriously wanna hang out with them everyday. When i hang out with S it can be boring sometimes but when im with F, AH and A i have a good laugh and lots of fun.
What should I do? Im like stuck in between. Im in grade 10 by the way if that matters. Im feeling so sad about this i don't know why. Please give me advice.

My friend keeps copying me at whatever I wear, listen to, and more. He is basically a mimic. I used to wear a derby everywhere but when he started wearing one I stopped. Also I used to have a bandana hanging out of my back pocket but now he is even doing it. It works like this with almost everything. Everyone is starting to believe Im copying him because I dont hang around people much. I want to be an individual but with this idiot as my friend I cant be whatever I want to be. I need to know a way to make him stop without damaging the friendship and without making myself look like an idiot. I like the *** kissing and all but I hate it when I hang around him. Is there a way to make him stop without me looking like an idiot and tarnishing the friendship?

Ok im 35 years old. I had this 18 year old girl trying to hit on me on line and she kept telling me she likes older guys. It was creeping me out. Being 35 i really cant see myself dating someone under 25. This is because of common interests and life experience.

Im typically ok with 8 years younger and 5-8 years older than me. Do you think it is normal to be creeped out by someone half your age?

2 of my good friends from high school are getting married, six years after high school graduation. We were very good friends (in a tight group of about 8 people) during high school. We all hung out frequently during college breaks but I haven't kept in touch much in the past 2 years.

Now they are getting married and pretty much all of our friends other than me got invited - granted, they've kept in better touch with most of the other friends. They do have my contact info because we're friends on facebook. I even posted congratulatory notes on their walls as soon as they got engaged nine months ago.

But no wedding invitation. Is this a snub? I haven't done anything to make them mad at me, as far as I know. Or should I just accept that there's a limited number of invites to a wedding and they just don't value my friendship at much as the other friends?

instead of going to dinner with her to discuss things with her i am going to not do that. is it better to not try and make someone understand you better, or is it better to have them understand you better only by their own want to understand you. i dont want this damn dinner to be me begging for her to know she has the wrong idea of who i am, if she missed the last 2 months, thats not my problem. chicks hate nice guys. does this mean i should be the asshole they want me to be? **** no!! never change, never change.

I went into college knowing i didn't want to go. the only reason i did is so i could have insurance b/c i have a permanent sickness i have to deal wit and so i could have a place to live b/c my mother likes to put people out on the street. I'm an 18 year old female in northwest indiana just starting out . I'm looking for a job but its really hard b/c the jobs i apply for always say they are looking for more experience but people with more experience had to start of somewhere right? but i was thinking of taking up an trade but i don't know what trade i can do as a female mentally and physically. it would be wonderful if somone could really give me some advice or guidance.

We seem to fight about the same issues over and over, and never reach a good conclusion. It seems as if he either gets his way, or we keep fighting. Our fights are very mild, more like a discussion that feels like it never ends. I'm so tired of this. I love my husband, we've been living apart as he's working in another country (with the rest of his family) and I'm due to go live with him in the next few weeks now he's got a place ready. But I think I've messed up one last time. He is very controlling in that he wants to know where and when I'm going and what I'm up to and to ask before going anywhere (even though he is abroad). I went out 'without his permission' last week (I went during the day with girlfriends and due to some miscommunication I thought it was ok) and he has been angry with me. We finally made peace, but I just think I've pushed him away for good. He didn't want to stay with my family when he comes to 'collect' me and it upset me especially as he made a point of saying it was 'because of what I did' and talked about other minor things I've done he didn't like. I said I didn't think we are compatable anymore and I couldn't live always being reminded of every past mistake. He's said fine that's it.

on her withdrawal day, the day this student decides that it is her last day and is. Why would a professor still feel a little uncomfortable even after he said he wotuld a week before.
Is it because he thinks my friends and I are close enough for me to share any insight between him and I.
This professor said he wanted a relationship with me but only after I graduate or no longer attend the college.
He always made it clear to me that he could get into deep trouble if I exposed the conversations we would share.
We had something going on but no physical contact.
He was very shy and quiet, 27 years old.
But with me he was pretty open and relaxed, but still
a little reserved.

So why would he feel uncomfortable giving out his number... if let's say HE really did like this girl and she really liked him
(over 18) ?
he would make a paranoid face when we would talk even teacher-student talk, he would get kind of red when a teacher would pass by us.But during decent conversations.

Okay so my family is Jewish-Orthodox, and i absolutely HATE it. They make me wear skirts to school, even though i go to a public high school, so im the ONLY 1 wearing skirts. i feel very akward being the only 1. but thats not it. on rosh hashana (the jewish new year) i got in trouble for picking up my cell phone. u no and i dont even believe 1/2 the stuff, like not using a computer, or watching tv, or using an ipod on shabbat (saturday). u wanna show me where it prohibits usage of the above stated in the bible? yah i didnt think so. the rabbis decided this. i missed the homecoming dance cuz "shabbat" wasnt over when it started and my parents refused to let me go. its a load of crap if u ask me. like, ill be 15 in less than a month (!!!) so am i wrong thinking i have the right to make my own decision when it comes to religion? its my life!! not my parents. its a decision that i myself need to make. its also creating fights btwn me and my mom, & as always my dad backs my mom

Me and my cousin use to get along fine,but the past year he's changed and gone really moody. I went to stay with him for a weeks holiday and he was sarcastic with me the whole time i was there,he even argued with me over something lame.
