okay...so due to the wonderful world of technology...my husband's ex located him on myspace. One convo led to another and we now have dinner plans with her and a 'friend' (male) next weekend. My husband has showed me his conversations via myspace and they seem innocent enough...but I did check his IMs without him knowing and he made reference to 'smiling from ear to ear' when they first were speaking on IM.
We have had a rocky 7 year marraige and are just getting on the right trach again...is a dinner with the ex and her 'friend' a bad idea or is it being polite and letting the past be in the past?? I am torn to be honest. A part of me understands that she shared in his life and can be a friend to him and a part of me imagines total awkwardness next weekend!

For instance, you'll be doing ten things at once, and your guy will be sitting on his duff doing nothing....and he'll wonder why you are in such a pissy mood?
I feel that if they would take some initiative, and help out occasionally without being asked, there'd be no need to nag or ask repeatedly.
Plus, it doesn't help that some men call it "nagging" whenever their wife or girlfriend asks them to do something that they don't want to do, or agree with.

There's this girl I've liked for about 6 months now and I think I've ruined it for seeming to be too desperate, available and always wanting to hang out with her.

I hung out with her, her sisters, my brother and my friend. I was kind of avoiding her, but still talking to her equally with everyone. Before I would always be talking to her(not giving her space). Now I'm just treating her like everyone else, she seems to be curious in the way I've been acting... could it be working? Playing "hard to get?"

I make her laugh, I point out the stupid things she does(playfully mean) and she says stuff like "you're mean!" or "don't say that" (all with a smile mind you).=] I'm not sure if she likes me. If I knew she did I wouldn't be here asking this question.
I'm scared that if I tell her how I feel things will get awkward if she doesn't feel the same and that will only lead to my worst nightmare... not being able to see, talk, or be with her comfortably.

I'm not sure if I should just move on because I really like her. I haven't been acting rude, but I don't give her my full attention. Can you give me some feedback. I'd really appreciate it.=]

My gf still talks to her ex as friends. I want it to stop and I don't know how to tell her without sounding like some crazy jealous person. he was a very jealous man and she couldn't stand it and i think that ultimatley ended there 5 yr relationship along with some other issues she had. So i don't want us to end i want her to stop talking to him all together. It didn't bother me until i was looking through her phone and noticed he was one of her my fave's contact's.....that just made me wonder do they talk more then she tells me....

I want it to stop, how can i tell her w/o making it a fight between us???

I am currently a 25 year old male and I've been dating girls in the age ranges between 18-19. Girls my age, mostly 22-25, get mad and complain how I'm dating immature freshmen, but I don't see why they are complaining they used to be freshmen 18-19 year olds not that long ago, and the girls I've dated in this age range are more mature then most of the girls that are 24 and 25 years old.

A coworker of mine told me this girl thought i was cute and at that time i didn't know she had a boyfriend. I was chatting with a coworker when she passed by and i stopped the conversation , called out her name and told her she looked nice today. She said "thanks" and turned really, really red.

It seems like one of her coworker is trying to push me towards her but i feel uncomfortable knowing she has a b/f.

OK ...I married a wonderful man who has custody of his son.We have been together for about two years.When we first got together..his ex wife would pick up her son on the weekends and sometimes after school...She would see him as much as possiable.Now she hardley ever see him or calls....she only live a few minutes from use....We have tried to talk to her about what she is doing but she thinks my husband is trying to control her.....I love my stepson and i want whats best for him.....he is really upset about not seeing his mom more....Ive tried to be honest with him...he is nine years old...How do i tell a sweet nine year old that his mother is more consider with having "her own life" [her words not mine],then spending time with him.BTW...I take care of him 24-7....its hard ,i feel in my heart he is mine but at the end of the day I wish his mother would take a least a lil interest in him....this has been going on for about 9 months or so...

i been seeing this guy for a couple months now.
i have trust issues due to a couple of very bad past relationships.
things seem to be going well.
its his birthday this wkend and we planned to go out together, but he has just text me saying that his mates want to have a long wkend for his birthday prob going into town getting rat assed lol
he said is that ok and that we can celebrate it during wk.
but im peed of cos he planned with me first and now he has cancelled for his mates
so i just text ok
and that was it
ive not recieved a reply of him so i text him and asked him if he was going out both fri and sat night and still no reply from him!!

It seems like he is chaeting and i asked him to prove to me that he is not cheating and all he can say is,"trust me i am not cheating" i cant take it anymore he was living at his parents home and now he has left for over a month and staying in the area where is supposedly ex-girlfriend live.He says he is not living with her yet he can not take me there and prove that he is staying at his friend's house.I told him i was uncomfortable with him staying in the area where she is because she is determine to get him back and that he should return home,and he has refuse to do as i asked so i am leaving him.

For a while I was casually talking to this one guy. Eight months later we finally decide to make things official, he is now my bf of 4 months.While we were just talking he pretty much dangled, in my face, this other girl he was kind of talking to who lives 6 hours away.For a while I felt threatened by her. It even came to a point I just stopped talking to him, but he kept pursuing me. I got a little worried that he would choose her over me, but thats not how it went. Well he talked to her one time, after we got together, and I explained to him why I didnt like him talking to her. The fact that he brought her to my attention like she was something special, you know? He then assured me that I had nothing to worry about. That though he thought she was a cool person, I blew her out of the water and she could not compare. He also said he dangled her to keep me on my toes. Stupid I know.

Anyways the main thing is, she commented him on his Myspace today.

Ok so i knew this girl about 3-4 years ago when i was younger we never really hit it off then i moved away from her and never kept in contact untill recently she found my myspace and tho i was hot and bla bla

i started liking her and we went out for about a week then she said she had to focus on school work and couldnt focus on having a bf so i waited about a month till her birthday(which was friday) with all the other bs going on between that and about a week when i saw her i was questioning about us and she said if you ask me back out on my birthday like she wants the answer might change.....



So i did ask her out on her b day after making out and etc in the movies on her b day we couldnt do anything else cause her friends where there with us..

I asked her and she said she didnt know. so the next day i finally got my answer but she says im to hot\ nice for her and i dont show my naughty side enough... and she wants me to show it before she will be my gf.

should i just leave? idk

why am i so scared to sit down and just talk to my bf about our problems you know cause we argue alot. but im 16 and his 18 and i feel like he won't listen to me but saturday night i sit in the truck talking to him and i told him that i would give up everything that i have my whole family just to be with him if my family had ditched him i would give it all up to be with him i would give my dreams up just to be with him!!! What woman, doesn't love chocolate? Besides little things here and there, I have decided to take my girlfriend to this place in Brooklyn for a private workshop and learn how to make chocolate. its a half day of making, molding, and all other things. We've been dating a month. All my friends really really like him and have been trying to get us together prior to our one week together. He was so obvious with his signals for having a crush on me. I wasn't sure if I wanted to date him because I didn't know him that well. But I thought it might help me to get over my ex-boyfriend.
I initiated the whole thing, told him I liked him but didn't know for sure. So we decided to talk on the phone for a week to get to know each other. I found out he had lied to me -- he told me previously had a relationship for 2 yrs. It turns out that he has never had arelationship before. We are 19.
So he asked me out. I don't like him anymore. He is not the person I thought he was. He was more talkative on the phone. He is not flirting. He told me he "loved me and I was the one for him." I told him it freaked me out, he said he was sorry. I do not feel comfortable with him anymore. but my friends love him and he is a really nice guy. i feel like a jerk.
