My personal belief is if it is an issue that both of you can agree to disagree on that won't cause a serious problem in the relationship you can usually work around it. But, if it is an issue that is quite a big thing that you feel strongly about, you will not change & it can cause problems in the relationship. You musn't change who you are to please another. You cannot pretend that everything is ok when it is not.
If you feel it is something that you can & want to change about yourself & you are doing it for you, then by all means do it. But, if it is something about yourself that you value then be true to yourself & be true to the one that you love.

Yes, I think everyone feels that way when they are involved in a relationship at one time or another ..... but you need to remember no one is perfect ...... . if he wants to be with you, it shows that you are good enough for him ..... many couples don't see eye to eye on every subject or topic ...... that is ok ..... every couple shares some differences too ...... unconditional love means that you each have to give in on things sometimes while trying to make your loved one happy ....... but it doesn't mean you ever should give up anything you feel strongly about ..... and if he truely loves you, he would never ask to make any major changes either in the person that you are ..... = )

There are a few beliefs and or personality traits that is just embedded in us, if you changed that about yourself then you might as well give yourself and new name and pretend your someone you're not. There are few characterisitcs of mine which I hate but it seems no matter how much I try remains the same, and I've learned that's who I am.

I feel like that all the time. I just pretend everything is ok, when it's not. I just hope...that both of us can remember what drew us to eachother in the first place and hopefully we can rekindle that.

I feel like that alot, but I think it's because I seem to worry about my relationship constantly, even if their is nothing wrong with it. I guess I try to pretend like nothing is wrong though.
