Sounds like a "rebound relationship" which could be the worst thing you can get involved in. If your new "friend" is into you they will wait for the divorce is final. But if its just someone new you might want to spend sometime dealing with your own feelings and not under the emotional roller coaster ride of divorce. Take time for yourself remember you have to be happy with yourself before you can make anyone else happy. Don't jump out of the frying pan just to get into fire.

it has happened to many people. i guess the reason why you are separated from your wife is because you both want to have space from each other. i had that experience also. i was married and separated and then fell inlove for someone else. i know its kinda harsh to say that you should go for it and forget your marriage. but you might be confuse with your feelings. you have to figure out if your marriage is gonna work or not so that there would be no regrets. when you are really sure that you wont ever fix marriage then you can start finding out if what youre feeling for that someone else is true and if its strong enough to divorce your marriage. you know it doesnt work if you are gonna be thinking of saving your marriage and go cheat on your wife. trust me , its not worth it. if you want save the marriage, forget about continuing your feelings for someone else. if your marriage isnt something you want to save, then follow your heart.

It will be hard, but try to choose. My mother did the same thing. She was married for 22 years and then separated from my father. She is now posing as a wife for her new "friend".

I have a boyfriend for almost 3 years and I fell for a couple different people thought the years. But of course, I stayed with my boyfriend, and he won me over. I very much forgot about my dumb infatuations a week or so later.

be honnest and tell your wife and then say we are seperated and i did fall in love with someone else and i need time to see if it works out, if they aren't bitchy then they will understand but if they are bitchy then you know they will flip out on you...just tell them the truth and atleast know in your heart that you told them the truth and alteast you will feel better..maybe ask for a divorce also because your relationship is over if you fallin for another...if you have kids though remmeber they come first and don't stay with someone just because of the kids cause that will only hurt them more then a divorce would..cause you would be unhappy and kids feel that....good luck honnesty is your best policy!! honnesty is best!they will appriciate that you were honnest also instead of lying...hope it goes well..

You decide if you are going to work on the marriage or not, then you move forward accordingly. If you are not going to work on the marriage, get a divorce. If you are then end the relationship you are considering. Very bad idea to begin a new with someone else when you have not ended what you already have. Bad idea and very unfair to all involved. God bless****

Separated? How? I notice alot of men on here think just because they do not sleep with their own spouse for a few weeks that automatically means a separation... That does NOT count as a separation , sir. It does not mean she is only some dum ol roomate. ..if that is your situation..stop making excuses and stay married. Boredom means she is probably just as bored with you .. it could mean alot of other things too. You do not give enough info.

You got two choices.
1) Work on getting your marriage back.
2) End your marriage and take up with the new person.

There are no promises that either choice will work.

Get off of your lazy butt and file those divorce papers! I mean what is taking you so long?? If you are seperated from your spouse... make it official and move on!

Obviously the marriage is over then...you make the separation a divorce and pursue your new love.
