hes just 16...is it pervy??

i need some honest advise!

would it be wrong for an 18 year old (female) to see a 16 year old (male)? i just can help but think its pervy and wrong...people would think im taking advantage of him as im the 'adult' and he's just a 'child'.

buut i dont know, he keeps saying age doesnt matter but it does to me people are going to look down on me! and u know, i dont what to be getting in to that sort of situation where ill be called a perve.

most people wouldnt take me for an 18 year old anyway...not that that makes things any different.

would would u do in this situation? :S

It is probably not too bad, but it is unfortunately illegal in some places. If it is not where you live, then go fo it.

The only thing thats effects you at the moment is the age ( which 2 years isn't anything). 16 years old is still considerd by parents as a child and for some reason 18 year old is all grown up and sophisticated. I'm 27 now and when i look on your ages now i consider you both children but able to make your own decsicions. All i will say is make sure he's not using you for the older women experiance, and your not using him for possible lack of experiance. Best of luck to you both.

When you're a 16 yr old & 18 yr old, age does make a differece. This 16 yr old boy is under age and you should leave him alone. You both have far more growing, learning, and maturing to do before you're ready to get involved with anyone. Why don't you two complete your post-high school education and check back with each other in 10 or 12 years. Things should be better then.

If you feel uncomfortable with it then leave it be. But, if you don't then go for it. 16 and 18 is nothing then again if you live in the USA they seem to think its a great deal Why? Crikey I was 16 when i met my husband and he was 18 and nobody thought anything of it. I must admit i didn't look 16 but he knew i was. The good thing about it was he could get me into the pubs :) If anything makes you feel uncomfortable then don't do it walk away otherwise life is for living go and enjoy it and stop worrying.

I don't know if he's a perv. He's probably a normal hormone driven 16 year old who is thinking he's going to score with an 18 year old. Of course, he's going to be ok with it.

Personally, I think a line need be drawn between someone in high school and someone out of high school. It's just too difficult. What are you going to do, pick him up after school, or at his bus stop.

I'd suggest you go with you instinct which is to stay away from this 16 year old boy.

I don't think it is pervy... exactly...

You shouldn't base your relationships on public opinion, as long as it isn't breaking any laws.

However, I find it hard to imagine what you find attractive in a younger guy, especially seeing he is still going through puberty.

Also, i can't see it lasting.

16 or not - he is still a child. I wouldn't be able to feel comfortable with it myself.

I think you should let him grow up and get on with his life... see if he is still interested in a couple of years.

Clearly you can't be British. 16 is the age of consent here, we would not care less about an 18 and 16 yo.

uh why duz he have to be 16...how annoyin and yeh people will judge you but its up to you and if you really truely like the lad then its up to you wot u do...i personally would try and stay away but its not always that easy goodluk x
