A friend has lived with a man for 12 years, they have 2 kids. He disrespects her, and has done so their whole relationship. She has finally worked it out that she doensn't need to live like that, but can not afford to leave him as she has gone back to university and still needs to feed her kids and pay the rent. Basically, she needs his income to survive. What does she do?

I heard - " On receiving an marriage register application, the marriage officer issues a month notice regarding the intended marriage & get such a notice affixed on the notice board out side his office, a copy of such notice is sent to the marriage officer under whose jurisdiction the other party lives, also a copy is to the individual parties address."

I'm a brahmin and my boyfriend is gowda! We decided to go for register marriage as his parents are against us.

Now the question is :-
What happens if objection is raised from our relatives or parents?

I am sure my boy friend's parents wont keep quite. They are completely against us. My boy friend's father is a lawyer. How can we get married in such situation?

the other day my friend was complaining that he was going to giving his wife 25 million dollars in a seattlment with his now ex-wife. I myself am a semi-successful and have a lot of money becuase my parents died when I was young and they left everything to me.( only child ) When I got married I said to my wife she had to sign a pre-nup because I didn't want to lose anything that my parents gave me. Was I wrong to make her sign a pre-nup? I mean if it didn't work out she would get half of everything!!!!!!!! I don't think so. She doesn't work and spends money like it grows on trees...I think she looks at it like a vaction or some crap. I guess she thought she wouldn't have to work.

Women in other countires do what they are told when they are told. Women in America say " YOU DON'T OWN ME" god could you imagen how much better thing s would be if they just did what they were told. In Japan women have to ask permission to talk....if I could only convice her to move there.

ok so next year i will be going to a middle school i'm in sixth. and i am 5'2 and i have a 30-32 a for a bra and i'm kind of like great i'll be the tallest and the most developed. cause everyone in that school are like 4'7 and have nothing. i dont want to stick out you know? that bugs me. and i don't want to wait until everyone catches up with me. i don't want to go to that school but i have to explain this to my mom which i'm not to excited about. i want to go to a school with over developed tall freaks to make me feel better:) i'm not a ***** no not at all it's just i don't want to feel as if i stick out you know? and there's a sterotypical thing that asian girls are small and stuff which makes me feel even worse. cause i'm not small. i'm not fat or chubby i'm skinny. but i feel out of place.

am i wrong for thinking this?

p.s it's gross cause the guys ther are like 4'5. and it's just gross.

Theres this girl who found me on myspace about 4 months ago. I was interested in her until she told me that she was engaged to get married this december. She's 30 & had her own house with an excellent job but gave it up because he fiance' lives in England & she was going to move there after the wedding. This guy keeps saying how he wants to get me pregnant. I've never met a stranger guy. What's his deal? Can somebody help me out here? All i want is to be in love but i havent found that person yet. Ive been in love before, but not for a while and now that Christmas is coming all i want is a person that i can love and be with. I found my husbands wallet having his prom photo in it, over a year ago. I asked him why he would have him and another girls photo in it since he and I are now married and he said he'd remove it. Well I just checked again, and its still there. I have been put in a very difficult and uncomfortable spot.
My last ex-boyfriend is now dating my sister..... We dated about 4 years ago, and I am now happily married. My husband and I both think this is just wrong of my sister to do this, especially since my ex and I did not part on good term's ( he cheated) She thinks I still have feeling's for him (not true) I just can't stand him, I feel sick every time he is around. I am being told by some people to get over it, but I am really not enjoying seeing him at EVERY family get together.
Anyone have advise about how to deal, or should I just sit tight and hope they break up...
Our my husband and I the only ones that think this is bad?

So my friend is turning 17 and he is a low key guy. He doesnt want the whole world to know its his special day. His other best friend is having his dad get him out of the house while she makes him dinner, so it will be a surprise dinner at his own house from her. I on the other hand, need to do something way, way better. so here is my idea...He like starbucks, chipotle, and cheesecake factory. So we get out of school early on the day of his birthday. I was thinking of sending him on a "treasure hunt" with me in the car, but he only can ask me for help 5 times. I would start with giving him clues to get him to chipotle, then once there...he would recieve clues to another place and there find another thing, until we ended up at the cheesecake facorty with his presents, where i would buy him dinner. So along the way he would get git cards to all the places we went and so on...is this a good idea? to cheesy? difficult? help!!! please and thank you!!! :]

At first I didn't think much of this but......

This boy is 18 and works for my husband. Over the past couple weeks, any time I mention doing something, he offers to go with me.

Like, Black Friday, he said he would be here at 4am and go with me to shop.

Tonight, I mentioned to my husband that I should go drop my rx's off to get filled. My daughter's boyfriend then said, if you go now, I will go with you and you can show me what the girls want for Christmas.

These are just two examples, there are several other times he has done this--is he just being super nice or what?
