This guy keeps saying how he wants to get me pregnant. I've never met a stranger guy. What's his deal? Can somebody help me out here? He wants to know when I'm ovulating, and I feel he's acting out like a teenage girls, for they sometimes go through phases where they have the desire to be pregnant. Can I get a male's perspective of this.

Hey, thanks to all who responded to my question. Now, I have some info for you guys. My friend tells me today that he hasn't been able to have a child with any previous girlfriends and he just thought it was just fun to say. Wow...I now kinda feel bad for him. Although he claims he isn't worried about having kids I believe this says it all. He would love to have kids.

Ask him how much money he makes. after all you will need child support. ask him if he loves you. ask him if he is ready for marriage. tell him that your not ready for marriage, and marriage comes before babies. tell him that if he can't stop asking about ovulating and babies that you can't be friends any more!

I can't give you a male perspective personally, however, I know a lot of guys and when this subject came up, the answer was universally the same. It is a tremendous ego boost to have living proof of your potency and thus your ability to "get the job done". That doesn't have a lot to do with wanting the responsibility of parenthood however. it is more like being able to show off a trophy and claiming victory because "he's the man" .It can be very exciting to see the kid that you made and have other guys tell you" how cool it is to have a kid in the oven" So if you are looking for a guy that wants an active participation in providing and nurturing a real life kid who is going to need formula, diapers , doctors appointments and is not going to be such a trophy when he is 3 and screaming his head off, I would keep my clothes on.

Maybe he is just trying to ask you for sex, and using that as an lame excuse. But regardless the reason is, this guy is sick, you should keep away from him.

He's thinking about his own genetic desires, rather than respect for a friend.
Not a good friend.
