the other day my friend was complaining that he was going to giving his wife 25 million dollars in a seattlment with his now ex-wife. I myself am a semi-successful and have a lot of money becuase my parents died when I was young and they left everything to me.( only child ) When I got married I said to my wife she had to sign a pre-nup because I didn't want to lose anything that my parents gave me. Was I wrong to make her sign a pre-nup? I mean if it didn't work out she would get half of everything!!!!!!!! I don't think so. She doesn't work and spends money like it grows on trees...I think she looks at it like a vaction or some crap. I guess she thought she wouldn't have to work.

Women in other countires do what they are told when they are told. Women in America say " YOU DON'T OWN ME" god could you imagen how much better thing s would be if they just did what they were told. In Japan women have to ask permission to talk....if I could only convice her to move there.

Sounds like you were smart to make her sign a prenup. At first I thought because of her spending but once I read clear through I realized you were smart because when she gets sick of you and your attitude you won't have to pay as much when she dumps you.

Let me ask you this: Why the hell should your wife get half of what your parents left you? The divorce law doesn't make any sense. Sure if you married and you earned this wealth when married, then I think the woman is entitled (most of the time).
What is owned before a marriage should be untouchable. Sure there are aholes out there that don't give a dam about how their wife will survive after they get divorced, but on what grounds is your ex entitled to what your parents left you? Nothing!

How do women ask for permission to talk if they can't talk?

Do they have hand signals or flash cards... maybe a signal light on their head...

That would be cool, there could be different colors for what they want to talk about...

I wonder if I could patent something like that?

What would I call it? hmmmm....

I'm sorry what was the question?

Oh yeah... prenups.

I guess they are a good idea if you have a lot of money before the marriage, but if you spend your life with someone and they helped and supported you while you made a fortune then they should get half of it...

And they should get half of anything that was made during the marriage even with a prenup.

Anyone who thinks women should have to ask permission to speak, while thinking he's entitled to, is too much of a misogynist to marry. And if you don't like how your wife handles money, you should have determined this *before* marrying, and not married her.

The prenup is an entirely separate issue. I do agree with them and will be having one when I get married. But marriage should only be for people who genuinely *respect* their partner. And it's more than obvious that you don't.

And does a Pre-nup make you any better... remember, there are loop holes... and money she could be saving ... don't think you are so smart just cause your friend got screwed

think only -with all that money u still can't spell. what did u waste them on then? invest in your own education and be grateful that some woman is willing to waste her life on u

ps. u didn't even write the word quiet correct. how dumb are u? the word quite has entirely different meaning. i suggest u start investing your money in dictionaries first

I feel bad for your inability to trust and appreciate your spouse. With that attitude, you probably will get a divorce though. So good job being a paranoid self fulfilling f*ck!

So you don't want a wife, you want a slave? You don't want a real relationship, you just want your own needs and selfish desires fulfilled and forget her right? Grow up.
