How can we progress from this..........?

Ok well i have this mate, we always hang around and talk and stuff but lately he has sweeter to me than normal and we have been flirting and stuff and the other day we looked in to each others eyes and i felt "sparks", and i know he did too.

But how do we move on from being friends to being more than that? I really like him but i don't want to ruin our friendship.
